*Horrible* hotel to stay at *save your money*
*No Heat* - *No Hot Water* - *Bad Customer Service*. After all ready paying $74.00 for the room through HOTELS.com, I arrived to the hotel and I was not even going to be able to get a room key without having "$100 on a card for the hotel to hold". Without having that $100 on a card I wouldn't be able to get the room, even though I already paid for the room. When going into the *12'x12' room* with a dresser blocking the heater. The Heater Did Not Work so there was No Heat, then when going to take a shower there was No Hot Water. By far one of the worst places to stay at. *I advise not staying at this place *

The online information Expedia gave was misleading! There was no breakfast, not even coffee!! Despite it taking a long time to find the solitary employee to check-in, she was a pleasant person. We got the broken coffee maker swapped out and the notes we left on the non-functioning equipment in our room were rectified the next day. The rooms are tiny, but we worked around that, placing our luggage on the bed, or a table. We could see that the owner had recently updated the facilities.

Do not stay at this place. I’ve stayed in dumps in my life but this one was one of the worst. They have a money back policy after 30 minutes of checking in. That should tell you something. Just don’t check in.

The room I stayed in was the worst I’ve ever been in. There were holes in the walls, purple paint splattered on the walls, and old bed sheets to name a few.

The person who checked me was cold. The room was clean and in good condition. The mattress was comfortable but the bed platform was made of sheet metal and sounded like duct work being banged on when you are on the bed.

Bathroom was is very poor shape. Towels were skimpy, very thin and some had dirt stains. Soap out of dispensers was horrible, did not lather up. I had to go buy a bar of soap. Very expensive for what we got. No breakfast.

The room was noticeably unclean bugs and dust piled up in the corners, and there were crumbs on top of the comforters. Refrigerator and shower both looked like that hadn’t been cleaned in some time AC didnt work. Very small rooms. Just there to sleep a few hours so we dealt with it but definitely won’t stay again

Unfortunately, We ended up leaving. We just felt like it wasn’t a safe area. Looks like they were trying to fix the place up but bedding had holes in it, things were lying on floor instead of hanging on wall, a/c kept tripping the outlet, and the cleaning smell was overwhelming strong, giving me a headache. Also, the office was full of clutter and there was no breakfast area like what was pictured. I guess the price was too good to be true.

Lack of friendly greeting, almost grudging acknowledgement of our reservation. Unkempt property with weeds, cigarette butts, and other litter. Shabby condition of room with dusty areas behind furniture. No continental breakfast. No dining or drink option in immediate area. Sharp contrast to America's Vest Value Inn in St. Marys, OH, where we had just stayed previously.

It was right on the main road. Easy access and parking. She could not find me in the system even though I called that morning to confirm. Wanted to charge way more until I found the confirmation code. The front desk area was a mess. Junk everywhere. The room smelled musty. No grab and go breakfast or anything. No cups to put coffee in.

Don't stay
Dead bugs around. Holes in wall. Smelled of smoke. Unfriendly clerk. And my nephew told me after I told him where I was staying that only people getting out of jail stay there.

Most of the lighting in the room did not work. It was not very clean, smelled funny and was generally run down. The towels were of a poor quality and limited quantity. Provided toiletries were of a poor quality as well. Additional towels were provided upon request and the location in relation to Hillsdale College is convenient.

The rooms smelled bad, comforter had large stains on it. Bathroom was very old and in poor condition. Where you check in is cluttered and dirty. It looks like it was once where breakfast was served but not any longer We left without staying there. I would not recommend it to anyone.

This is worse place I stayed in the very long time. There is absolutely nothing good I can say about this property. Place is outdated, filthy and everything in the room looks unsafe. We were on family trip to visit our son at Hillsdale college, but because it was Family weekend there every hotel around was full. This was the only available property around,.Next time I would rather sleep in my car then on this place. Needless to say pictures and property details on Hotels.com are misguiding.

Not clean and out of date.
Very old "motorlodge" motel, like from the 1970's. Badly needs updated. Photos include dirt on the sheets, mold in the tub, previously used soap left in the tub, stains on the ironing board, bathroom fan only worked half the time. And was very overpriced for the quality. Should have been around $40 instead of $80.

sorry about this but may be they trying to book a room for you and in our system did not have a Room so they showing availability fail so that's why our system is showing our Reservation.

It was clear this property is not taken care of. They simply have not done the proper upkeep and maintenance. All the wiring plumbing and repairs done was very bush league.

your complain is not appropriate because The day you check in we clean your Room in front of you .we have a 100% money back guaranty if you don't like Room and you have a three days Reservation and you stayed three days and never complain.

The first room ac did not work. Moved to different room and owner at front desk told housekeeping to clean the room she moved us to so housekeeping walked in on my daughter changing. The owner then let herself in because she didn’t believe housekeeping that she moved us to that room. Key wouldn’t work and owner said to come to the front office to he let in my room anytime we needed to get it. Housekeeping keyed my card correctly. Only positive at this facility. If it wasn’t for the fact that everything in that area was completely booked we would have changed hotels immediately. Also, the picture online is not a current photo. Place is run down. Would not recommend it to anyone.

above guest have a three days Reservation and we rented the Room and she said the AC is not working and we change the Room and she stayed in this Room three days and she did not complain and she booked one more day and stayed one more day and she did not complain .we offer her to change the Room she denies if she did not like the Room we have a 100% money back Guaranty

Bathroom had towels from previous guest still in the bathtub. Shower curtain was moldy. Floor was not vacuumed. Towels were barely bigger than hand towels. Nonsmoking room smelt of heavy smoke. Trash bins in parking lot overflowing.

BACK AWAY SLOWLY......
To say it was bad is a gross understatement. We walked into the 'Office' which was filthy and cluttered. The woman and man behind the counter were struggling with our registration and got into a verbal altercation creating a very awkward situation. She gave us the key to our room and said they would come get us when they were able to get the system working. We parked and went to our room. The key was not programmed for our door, and we were unable to access the room. The same woman came and opened our room with a master key and did not offer to replace our key. When we walked into the room, which was filthy to say the least, the first thing I noticed was a very visible hole in the comforter of the first bed. The shower curtain also had holes in it from age is my assumption, while the bath math was torn at every corner. There was trash in every corner and a sock lying outside our door. The neighboring rooms were clearly rented out to long term tenants. We made the decision to leave not even 30 minutes after arrival. The pictures provided in this booking had to have been taken at a different location. It is simply not humanly possible that no one else has noticed this. Horrified is the only word I can come up with.

Property looks like a junk yard. Th furnace did not work I was away at a meeting he offered money back my wife had no car and she did not know where to go did not offer another room I got to Motel at 1 a.m she was curl up in the in bedroom had door shut and they gave her a space heater The kitchenette and bathroom were freezing it had snowed that night it reminded me of the old days freezing in the morning and 5 kids huddeled around the fuel oil furnce

This complain is not true.she complain about heat when i check it was 70 degree. she is smoking and leave the room open so she never get heat.so we have a potable heat also. and we offer her 100% money back guarantee.

I was very disappointed that there were no smoke detectors in the room, the heat didn’t work and a portable heater was provided. The room had a kitchenette but the was no silverware, pots or pans one little bowl and plate. No dish soap. Outside there broken pallets on the drive. The bedding and towels were in sad shape really need to be replaced as they were thin and stained. The carpet was sticky. I’m sad since it was supposedly recently remodeled. The room was on the back side of the premises with one other room on that side. I was hoping it was in the condition advertised as I am a frequent traveler to the area and the hotel we used stay was converted to apartments. Sadly I will never stay at Americas Best Value Inn Jonesville MI. On a positive note, it was very quiet and manager seemed nice.

The staff was very rude, the ice machine didn't work, a huge hunk of steel from the 1980s and covered in rust it was sitting outside in the snow. The man at the desk had a major attitude and acted like he didn't even want to be there.
