“Juliette is a wonderful host and her home is clean and lovely - filled with organic and sustainable products and the breakfast was just what we needed after a week of bikepacking around the Cowichan Valley! Highly recommend this as a great way to celebrate the end of an adventure.”

grounds looked gorgeous on ad but were completely neglected
garbage cans overfilled therefore garbage on grounds
advertised beautiful gardens was complete false advertising
all guests reported same complaints”

“What we liked: The location near the sea wall, being near the pub (but in a separate building, so no pub noise) and the quaint heritage building.
What we didn't like: The slightly small, creaky bed with a dip in the middle which made sleeping with a partner rather uncomfortable, the very temperamental toilet, the fire alarm going off for no apparent reason at about 7:15am for about 10 minutes and the receptionist forgetting to give us the wifi password.”

“Lots of farm animals to see. Lots of land to enjoy. Very spacious and well-appointed room. Wonderful library room, living room, and dining room. A very unique place to stay. I wish we could have stayed longer than one night. Only one confusing thing - a wrapped piece of chocolate placed into the decorative fold of a towel was mistaken by one of us as a small bar of soap and used as such, but only one.”
