“Clean and comfortable”

“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. “We originally booked a different room at another location, but due to “technical issues with Expedia,” we were rescheduled to this location only a few hours before our arrival by the owner. We had booked a Comfort Double Room with a private bathroom, but were instead given a tiny room (less than 8 m²) with a shared bathroom. “Loved our one night stay. We had a room with access to a balcony with sunset views. Comfortable bed. Great hot breakfast. Jennifer is a wonderful host and the B & B provided good old fashioned hospitality you would expect from a home in Newfoundland. Highly recommend. Would stay again!”

“Overall, the hotel was okay, with very good food and friendly service. However, the room had a few issues, as the shower head was confusing to operate and the toilet would make a constant hissing noise after flushing. When we first entered, the room also felt a bit dull, and the AC was turned up too high, making it feel like a freezer. Other than these issues, we had a decent experience with the hotel.”
