“The rooms were clean. When I booked we were under the impression that we would have our own "suite" with a kitchen. There are multiple rooms that are rented in the house and we were not sure if we had access to the kitchen. There was no information in our rooms as to what we had access to. It would have helped. When we arrived, the rooms were very cold. Every window was opened. Extra blankets would have helped during the nights. Beside one of our rooms there was a small veranda with a table and...

“The staff were very accommodating, friendly, and great at communication! Street parking is available and was not a problem. The property was clean and the neighborhood felt safe. I would recommend to anyone who does not mind a shared living space and wants to stay in Vancouver! It has everything you need at a good value!”

“Our room was very nice with a king bed, private bathroom, and private balcony overlooking the river. The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed, including a coffee maker in our room and a mini fridge. Breakfast was delicious and everyone was very nice. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.”

“Only a 15 minute walk to Commercial Drive. There was a great supermarket only two blocks away.”

“Everything was great 10/10 but it was just hot sleeping there, i think the host have to lower the temperature a little bit but it was a good experience will definitely go again”

“The location, just off Cambie, is wonderful for attending downtown events - just a couple of kilometers to BC Place, for instance. It’s reasonably quiet. The room is tiny and it does have a sink in the bedroom, rather than the bathroom.. but other than that, it’s great. The breakfast next door is decently portioned”

“An interesting option of a stay but will definitely return and possibly stay longer to enjoy all this place has to offer. Staff were excellent! It was a great option for us and a quick Uber ride to the airport.”

“I booked the room in the evening for that same night after missing my train home, and then I woke up sick. From my after 8 p.m. arrival to my after checkout time departure the next day, the hosts were gracious and flexible in every way. Dwayne set me up with an ice pack and let me stay in bed past checkout time. I'm sorry I couldn't eat his great looking breakfast spread or use the gym. I did get to admire the lovely view”
