Of all the places we stayed in on our road trip through Nova Scotia this was by far the most reasonable in terms of price and experience In addition to being beautiful, clean it offered so many unexpected amenities - a private hot tub, barbecue AND fire table for each unit and a welcome basket with delicious snacks. Green Chalet a Cabot Shores Wilderness Resort

“We were to be in the Green Chalet (the word chalet is quite misleading). Informed host we would be arriving late. Chalet could only be identified by the roof colour, which in the dark is not visible. A sign on the cabin would have been helpful. The breakfast (an additional charge) was watery scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, dry bread, frozen raspberries. The manager was to be in at 8:00, finally showed up at 8:25. The other staff were unable to assist with check-in. As a result, we were unable to...

“The cabin was dirty; light switches grimey, dirt on walls, cob webs on stair case, hot tub was very dirty (we kept scooping out brown foam) and our arms and legs were covered in brown scum when we got out. I went upstairs to shower and there very little water coming out of the shower then the water stopped completely. There was no water coming out of the bathroom sink. The beds were very uncomfortable-I looked under the mattress and the wooden support rail was broken.I’m not at all a picky...

“My brothers and our families stayed here after a family memorial. It was the perfect spot to be together and reflect and relax for a week, since we live far apart. We enjoyed paddle boarding on the quiet bay, swimming in the ocean, hiking on the local nature trails, and relaxing in the wood fired sauna and hot tub. The house and facilities were more than adequate for our large group of 10 adults. Our host was responsive and helpful. Whenever I contacted her she cared more about our...

“This property was beautiful but it was lacking a deck out the two sliding glass doors off the main room, there was just a 3 ft drop. There was no outside seating either, host told us there were rocks by the really old picnic table by the lake. Nothing close to the house though. The side door that was marked emergency exit had no lock on it, just a towel stuffed where the lock would be this had a 3 foot drop off to the ground as well. The property was beautiful and it was super easy to check...

10/10 Eccellente
