“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. Either the price needs to change or the inn needs to modernize. This is of course my...

“My boyfriend and I couldn’t have asked for a better spot to stay for our last night in PEI. While you do feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere that’s half the charm. The property was beautiful the breakfast they served was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for more out of our stay. We will certainly to try stay here again the next time we’re on the east coast!”

“We were in Hummingbird, a lovely room. View of the water over the train station. Easy walk to many restaurants and the kilometers-long Pictou seaside walk. House has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Hummingbird is at the top of the stairs, but was still very quiet. Couldnt hear other guests at all. Hosts very nice and helpful. Breakfast egg bennys anf fresh fruit salad great”
