“Had trouble finding a plug to charge our cell phones; in this search we found a lot of dust and food item from previous person stay. Property looks old and needs a lot fixing up. They don’t offer free breakfast. Doesn’t look like they offer the ability to purchase breakfast. The one good thing is the air conditioner is very quiet, they’ve invested good money into that.”

“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. “Insufficient parking when the restaurant is open. This should be an adult only property. One night a family above us had a crying baby and it was like the baby was in our room. There is no sound insulation to the upstairs unit. The bed is very uncomfortable and the mattress needs replacing.”

“The owner is very personable and helpful. We stayed in the separate lodging on the property, not in the house. We had a very spacious upstairs room. Note, the breakfast is not included for stays in the separate building. Highly recommended .”

“Felt very homely. Personal touch. We had to check out before breakfast time and were provided with a few breakfast items to take with us. Staff were polite and helpful. The room was cosy and comfortable. There were no loud guests, the whole atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Within walking distance of harbour front, plenty of restaurants nearby.”
