“The apartment is five minutes’ walk from Sentier Metro station, and is accessed through a shopping arcade with several entries, although only one is accessible at night. It was up several flights of stairs with no lift, but we knew that in advance so not a problem. Everything worked apart from the toaster and was clean. The apartment is spacious. The only downside was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in certain areas, which I assume came from a downstairs apartment. I would stay there again but...

“I found out the evening before checkin in that the host had double booked the property and my family and I had to find last minute accommodations in Paris. Poor, poor service.I booked almost 5 months in advance. The property might be nice, we wouldn’t know. Just a word of warning Check and double check to confirm reservations well before your arrival. No offer for help to find another place , just a half hearted apology.”
