“There are some rentals where they give you barely enough (i.e. 3 towels, 12 knives, 4 spoons, and 1 fork) but that is NOT this rental. This rental seriously has MORE than ANYTHING you could need. We appreciated the abundance of towels/washcloths, eating utensils, outdoor seating, etc. The owner shares the duplex and should anything go wrong, I am confident she would make it right. She is a delightful person and wants to make sure your visit is more than you expect. She is very accommodating...

“The ranger house is spacious with big kitchen, deck & living room, 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The deck is badly in need of refurbishing. There are sleeping cabins in the park so extra family members can join you. The path to the lake is hilly and the approach to the pier needs work. The kitchen did not have a toaster which was a real disappointment and we were unsuccessful trying to reach the host. There are a lot of pluses for this rental and we will probably use it again. “Overall this property was ok. Our biggest complaints are that after multiple messages, texts & phone calls, we never were able to get a hold of the property manager. We had questions throughout our stay, and a jacket was accidentally left by one of our kids & we cannot get a hold of anyone to try & recover it. This is disappointing! We even called VRBO customer service w to attempt to reach them & they were no help at all either. Second, there are ZERO window coverings, even in the bedrooms....

“The house had everything we needed for a week stay. Lots of games in the basement for kids to play. Kayaks and paddle boat were great for the kids when the weather was nice. We caught lots of fish both off the dock and out on the lake. I will say the lake is over run with catfish, but we caught lots of crappie too. Will definitely consider coming back in a few years when my niece graduates. Thanks for letting us stay!”

“It was perfect accomodations for our group. Very well equipped kitchen, not many steps and comfortable beds. Weather was wonderful! We were allowed an early check in AND a late check out...awesome!!”
