“The building is very old (the oldest hotel in Alaska) but it was a great stay. I never had any issues. I couldn't open my window because I was on the 2nd floor and the building looked to be built into the mountain so there was a lot of foliage right outside my window, but they provided a box fan. There was a Daddy Longlegs spider on the ceiling but I left him alone and he left me alone. I would stay here again.”

“This was a great spot! It is an upstairs apartment, reached by outdoor stairs. There’s a huge spacious living room with great couches, well equipped dining area, two bedrooms with very comfy beds, a small/handy kitchenette area, and a basic bathroom. Note that it has lots of big windows with views of the harbor, and trees right outside with eagles perched in them. :) There’s no stove but it looks like there’s a nice grill out on the deck, for cooking, plus theres a microwave etc indoors. “Overall the property was great, view beautiful and property clean. This unit the porch is not in the front view of water but can see through the trees. Property well stocked with necessities. We were here to surprise family for a graduation so location was awesome for us only 5 min. drive. Downtown about 30 min away. Parking is down a small hill and a few stairs to unit if you have someone who might not be elderly or disabled keep in mind. Can pick up at the top after a few stairs. Beach...
