Aloha! Come and stay at the Hale Hamoa created for everyone with everything we love about Hawaii. Only 1 minute walk to one of the best snorkel beaches on Kona Side and the Surf school next door. The condo comes with all the essentials you need for an awesome vacation in Hawaii. It is also steps away from the condo pool which has Grills and a gorgeous view of the Ocean. Watch surfers ride the waves and see the sunset. The beds are so comfy and inviting. We provide beach chairs, umbrella and cooler to take to the beach. Mahalo!

Our week long girls trip was fabulous! The location of this rental surprised me. We were directly across from the ocean which I was not expecting. There are houses across the street but we woke up to an ocean view and waves crashing. It's on a bit of a busy street but the view made-up for it. It was just what we needed. Also so close to snorkeling at Kahaluu Bay. I'd never been to Kona so wasn't sure about locations of things but we walked to the bay and enjoyed the snorkeling! Such beautiful fish and easy access. Super beginner friendly. The rental itself was clean. The beds were super comfy. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer and kitchen. The guest pool area is nice and we enjoyed the view of the ocean and sunset from there as well. The only issue we had was some plumbing problems in one of the bathrooms but the owner was on top of it and responded right away and sent a plumber to fix it. This is a cute, comfy little spot tucked away on the ground floor so no stairs to climb and a great deal for the price!

Place was just as listed and in the perfect location to enjoy Kailua Kona. We really enjoyed having a place to snorkel right across. Host, Ryan, was very responsive and helpful. Overall would book this place again.

This is a nice, well-located unit. The pool area is great, you can sit and watch the surfers and snorkeling is a 3 minute walk. Unit is well stocked and although we didn’t really cook it was nice that there were some condiments and spices available. Downsides were that the neighbors above were really loud starting around 5-6 am. Just unlucky with that one. There was some maintenance that happened during our stay and we were surprised to have someone working in the unit upon returning from an outing. The owner had sent a message but I did not receive it. There was a chemical smell and we could not use that bathroom for the remainder of the trip. Had to keep door closed and fan on. That was really inconvenient as only the master bath was fully functional. Unit was clean. Check in was easy.

Great for families

We were on the Big Island for a family spring break and stayed in the Kona area for 4 days. This property was clean and had all the necessary amenities for our family. We loved the ease of entry with parking in front of the small patio. Nice small kitchen to meet our needs and we appreciated having a washer/dryer too. The listing states there is a pool and public patio area however that has been essentially removed. Not necessary for a visit to Hawaii but still surprised it was gone/under construction.

Great value when staying in Kailua Kona

My wife and some friends just returned from two weeks here.The unit was conveniently located right off of Ali’i Boulevard. It was about a mile from the KTA grocery store, about 100 yards from Kahalu’u Beach Park, and just down the street from the Magic sands Beach Park.The unit was very clean. The hosts communications were accurate and timely.The unit was very well equipped with about everything you need, including soaps, shampoos, and conditioner.The unit was well equipped with many disposables such as trash bags, dishwasher detergent, and spices.It was also equipped with beach chairs, a beach, umbrella, snorkel gear, and coolers.The washer and dryer were huge.The views from the rental were pretty decent and the views of the ocean from the pool were very, very good.We all agreed that this was a great place and would have no problem staying here again.

Great Stay

We loved the unit. It was all that was advertised. We used the grounds and pool often. It's at a good location, midway between the volcano and Hapuna Beach (our favourite. We would stay here again and recommend it as well.
