What an amazing spot

A fantastic stop in Kaiteriteri
Beautiful location and views. Great facilities. Handy for beach and store and pub/cafe. Great walks along coast a short drive ir boat trip away. Really loved this place.

Relaxing!
We had the loveliest weekend here with our group of friends. It's a beautiful location and we felt completely relaxed. The house is cosy and full of gorgeous character. Ellie was a very friendly host and we appreciated her hospitality. We would definitely come again!

"Twas so lovely to get the whole family together at this wonderful location. The house was perfect for our needs, the beach and surrounds - flavoured with outstanding weather - gave us a superb summer holiday. Ellie was the consummate host. Would throughly recommend!

Awesome location
We loved our stay at Rowling Road, best place we’ve ever stayed in Kaiteriteri! Ellie is a super lovely host & the views and location are fabulous. It was great being able to walk to Little Kaiteriteri or the main beach using the track. The house is homely and comfortable with a very relaxed vibe. We would definitely love to stay here again! ❤️

Paradise found.
We absolutely loved the time we spent at Ellie's house and the sensational views down to the beach of little Kaiteriteri. Birdsong all day long, friendly wekas and rhe beach just a short downhill walk away. The house is equipped with all you need including a brand new gas bbq which we made good use of. Ellie is a wonderful host who was easy to communicate with and coukdnt do enough to ensure we were happy with our choice.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay here in Kaiteriteri….. Ellie is a magnificent host who attended to our every need! The cottage is gorgeous, and equipped with everything you might need! I pray we can come back some day and stay longer!

A little bit of paradise!
Ellie was a delight to meet, she welcomed us to her lovely home with warmth and kindness. The house is warm and delightful, private, comfortable and with the best views front and back! We loved our stay, did a beautiful boat trip and walk one day - the boat tours are excellent. Even had a swim while we waited to be picked up. Thanks Ellie!

Unique slice of paradise
We loved the amazing view, peacefulness, and native birds surrounding the house. So great to have two decks for windy days and the track to beach was so handy close to the Bach. Hope to return

I am so pleased you enjoyed the native birds. Last week a Little Blue Penguin chick in one of our nesting boxes fledged and went to sea. The nesting boxes are monitored by volunteers and our chick was regularly checked & weighed as it hatched and grew. There are photos of it (along with others) on the website & Facebook pages of the Trust set up to assist the endangered Korora to breed successfully. Traps are set for predators like stoats but the most danger comes from dogs not kept on a leash. There have been too many Little Blues killed by pet dogs on the beach. No dogs at all are permitted on this property. Please Love Our Little Blues and help the breeding program.

Gorgeous Lockwood Cottage in Secluded Location
A gorgeous cottage tucked in amongst the trees on the headland between Kaiteriteri and Little Kaiteriteri. Warm and comfortable with beautiful garden and amazing views over Little Kaiteriteri beach (just a couple of minutes walk down some steps). Perfect for our family of four for a 3 night stay. Ellie was amazing - from welcoming us personally at the house to giving us advice on things to do and even introducing us to the Project Lead for the area’s Blue Penguin conservation project (yes we got to see penguins too!) Wish we could have stayed a whole week!

An idyllic oasis private yet close to amenities with the most beautiful elevated views native bush and birdlife.A short walk to both local beaches and access to exploring this amazing national park. Beautiful views and very handy location
Loved our 3 night stay. Very warm and comfortable, had everything we needed. Absolutely stunning views from both sides of the property. Very friendly Weka eating the persimmons fallen off the tree, noisy penguins nesting under the deck. Lovely short walk down to dinner at local restaurant. Highly recommend.

My sister and family visited from the UK, and we were lucky enough to book Ellie's Bach. This was amazing, A beautiful place for us. A great location with great views and access to the beaches, we just loved it. Ellie was wonderful as a host, so very welcoming and kind to us, and even posting back a watch charging cable to us which we left. We would love to return one day in the future.

Amazing!
Absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin had everything you would want and was very comfortable for our group. The location is one of a kind. Kayaking, swimming, exploring the Abel Tasman, quick hike down to the little shop for ice cream.. all amazing.. but Sitting outside overlooking the beach each evening was our favorite! Ellie was so kind and greeted us on arrival. She checked on with us and even offered to help after we had some car trouble. We hope to come back again soon!

Heart of Kaiteriteri with amazing views of little and big Kaiteriteri.
Couldn't believe our luck, the most amazing setting with views of little and big Kaiteriteri surrounded in native bush with the native birds to go with it. The house was equipped with everything you could need, a torch probably the only thing missing. Peaceful and relaxing.

I’ll remember to leave a torch for your next visit 😉 I use my mobile phone torch if I’m out after dark looking for the morepork (ruru) calling close by.

Ellie is a lovely hostess who personally saw to our comfort ag her little piece of heaven in Kaiteriteri. The location cannot be beat. The views and walkability in minutes to everything you might want in Kaiteriteri including easy access to Abel Tasman were just what we hoped for. Everything was neat as a pin. Special Beach Stay
My family of five (2 adults and 3 kids) stayed at Ellie’s home for three days. We were vacationing from California and visiting Kaiteriteri and Abel Tasman. The home and surrounding area were a highlight of our trip. Ellie was on site to greet us and show us the details of the home. She was always available via text or email for anything we needed, which we did not need to utilize as the property was perfectly set up. Our kids had an amazing time exploring the nearby beach and playing on the property. We just relaxed and enjoyed the view. We had a fantastic stay!

Perfect stay for a young family
Our lovely host went above and beyond to accomodate our young family. She provided toys, books, baby bath, high chairs, baby gate. Our toddler also loved the ducks and wekas that visited the property each morning. The pathway to the beach meant we could walk to the beach and be close enough to not need to pack ‘the kitchen sink. Ellie, the owner of the property, is lovely to deal with and so accommodating. The property has beautiful views all around and is comfortable. The short walk through the forest from the property to the beach adds a lovely dimension to the whole experience at 5C Rowling Road.

There are no words for how much of a beautiful spot this is! The photos are amazing but still don't do it justice, it was simply breathtaking. I don't have enough words to describe how wonderful this place is, breathtaking views, beautiful little house with everything u need to make a perfect break away perfect!! Elli is such a lovely warm and friendly person, who met us at the property and showed us around. The house was lovely and clean and very homely, it was very hard to leave, the views are magnificent, and so close to big and little kaiteri, we simply can't wait to come back!
