“The was as advertised, however the restaurant and menu certainly were not 5 star. I complained to the manager regarding the lack of wine available with meals and lack of choice. This was escalated to the chairman. After much to and fro it was agreed I would receive a refund of two nights as we left early due to lack of choice and general incompetence. This refund was promised within 15 days on my payment card. Needless to say no refund and no reply to my enquiry. Their email system was also...

“Beautiful colonial plantation in quite remote location. Wonderful views, breakfast on the veranda watched by leaping monkeys. Food good quality, very pleasant service. Nice swimming pool with amazing views. Very large attractive rooms. Comfy bed. We would recommend.”

“Un bel endroit au calme, très bien aménagé où on resterait bien plusieurs jours. Grande piscine bien arborée, cuisine d’été pratique, bungalows confortables avec climatisation. À savoir, pas de restaurants à proximité mais on peut préparer un repas ou le réchauffer dans la cuisine d’été (grand frigo, four, plaques de cuisson, tables, chaises, vaisselle, verres à vin, ventilateur, jolis voilages …) Jonathan est disponible pour répondre à toutes nos demandes avec gentillesse et efficacité ! ”

Schon der Start war perfekt: Obwohl wir bereits um 8 Uhr morgens angekommen sind, konnten wir direkt unser Zimmer beziehen – das ist wirklich nicht selbstverständlich und hat uns sehr gefreut. “Natscha and her assistant Ajit run this wonderful small guesthouse. If you are looking for an authentic, local experience then stay here. But, it is not that easy to get to, The road to the bungalow is largely unpaved and steep but, for us, that was all part of the attraction. The surroundings are beautiful - lush green jungle, beautiful rice paddies, local temples etc. But, if you don't have your own vehicle then it is not possible to get out at night. The cuisine is local and very good....

“Perfect place for our first location in Sri Lanka. We stayed three nights and loved it. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very welcoming and the quality of the Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner was amazing. We can also recommend the Katamaran tour in the lagoon. Free shuttle to the empty beach also worked great. Would always return here.”
