Hotel vicino a Kambol Kart Raceway - Phnom Penh

“Rude staff at the front desk. Confusing naming. There are maybe 10 other buildings called Bali in the city. And once you get to the right complex there is no indication that the hotel is hiding at the back of the property. This isn't a particularly great look for a hotel. People that visit a hotel are likely to be there for the first time. The internet connection is completely unacceptable. Less than 1Mbit. Room smelled of smoke. Not happy and I won't be back.”

“The room was not ready when we opened the door, had to call down to get it cleaned, the hallways and corridors are filthy, the one-bedroom suite is well set up, the cooktop was an induction cooktop but no induction cookware at all. Staff was good, BUT the day before we left at 10 a,m one of the staff members walked into our room without knocking, apparently he was in the wrong room, luckily for us, my wife and I were not being naked and intimate on the sofa again at that time. “The room had left over dirty laundry in the corner and left over toothpaste and soap on sink. Bugs crawled on the walls. No tea kettle in room like they said. They didn’t take credit cards just cash. The entire place looked nothing like pictures that are posted. ”

“The front desk person was very polite but very unhelpful. We booked 6 rooms and one of the rooms didn’t have windows. Since the hotel was very vacant, I asked if we could just have a room with windows. It was a no, and the $40 extra on card reader didn’t work. I went back and forth 4-5 times before it finally worked after he kept badgering to pay even thought it was his own card reader. The man directing traffic was very nice. Breakfast was ok. “Staff for check in and cleaning were very nice and had great service. Free tuk tuk rides to places closeby. Communication over text and email was a little slow though. Room, pool, sauna, gym and changerooms were very clean but the steam room was under maintenance. Not sure why the pool lights turned off at 9:30 pm but closed at 10pm.”
