Summary:
This house just underwent a major renovation in early 2022 including all new bathrooms, kitchen appliances, paint, flooring and lighting.  It is absolutely gorgeous and inviting and the perfect place to call your home away from home!

The Space:
The living room features many windows, and a 65" smart TV. The Blue Buffalo has a large dining room ready for a feast cooked in the new chef's kitchen. Kansas City themed artwork is sprinkled throughout not letting you forget where you are and celebrates many of the city's highlights and history. Each bedroom has a new king bed with a 40" Smart TV. Services provided are Sling and any app that you enjoy in your own home. High speed internet Wi-Fi is available at no additional charge.

The beautiful full-size kitchen is stocked with dishes and appliances if you should choose to make your own meals. Spend your late afternoon sipping your favorite beverage on the front porch and watch passersby walk their dogs to the dog park just 3 blocks west of the home.

***THIS HOME DOES HAVE STAIRS TO ACCESS THE FRONT DOOR.

The home is a great get away for family and friends or can accommodate a busy business traveling party who wants to be within easy walking distance of the vibrant night life of the Country Club Plaza.

Use of the entire home and driveway. Garage is not available for guest use.

The Neighborhood:
Designed in 1922, the Country Club Plaza was built as the country's first suburban shopping district. Stroll through it's endless options of stores, restaurants and nightlife. Make sure to stop along the way to admire the art & architecture. Numerous fountains, sculptures and murals make the Plaza a true outdoor art gallery.

House Rules:
*No smoking of any kind in the house, including vaping.
*Parties/events/loud noise are not allowed.
*Only guests that are on the reservation are permitted on the premises.
*Illegal activity is prohibited to include, but not limited to, drug activity, prostitution and illegal possession of firearms.
*We only allow pets with responsible pet owners. Pet owners are expected to pick up after their pet, not allow excessive barking. Any pet damage would be the responsibility of the pet owner.
*KC Stay may employ the use of video surveillance on the exterior of the home and/or noise detecting technology inside the premises to detect excessive noise levels.
*While there is a fireplace in the home, for liability reasons, it is not for guest use.

Great location! Very clean and comfortable. Only thing I would suggest is a larger shower. It was very tight for the size of the bathroom. But overall, we had a wonderful time!

This is an excellent location for exploring KC. The house is old and endearing and in a great, quiet neighborhood very near lots of local restaurants and watering holes. Close enough to the city's major attractions. The fire pit out back was a nice touch. The fenced backyard and no pet fee was also a major plus. We did have some issues with check in, and communication. We had asked for an early check in well ahead of our arrival and did not receive a response. We had to reach out for check in instructions and access codes because they were never sent to us. When we did receive check in instructions, with a bit of an attitude, we realized there was an option to pay for early check in. If we had known ahead of time, we may have utilized this option, but by the time I received check in instructions it felt like insult to injury. We also felt that the place could have been furnished and appointed better at minimal expense or effort. This is an old house with very few outlets in the bedrooms, and no effort has been made to assist guests with that reality. The dishwasher had been ran, presumably at the last guests' check out, but hadn't dissolved the dishwashing pod and so didn't clean. Some time had obviously passed, and the dishwasher was gross and mildewy and full of almost all of the dishes in the house. We had a few recommendations that would have made this a five star stay for us and passed them onto the owner. Hoping they take note as I would recommend this place if they do.

This was the 9th year of our friends fall weekend trip, first time to Kansas City. The house was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of amenities provided, very clean, excellent location. Would definitely stay here again next time in town.

Night out in KC

We were very pleased with the spacious rooms and how beautifully decorated the home was. It was very simple, but felt very warm and inviting. Perfect for 5 of us spending an evening out in KC. The home is renovated and had everything we could need for our stay.

Great and not so great

Great proximity to plaza, clean, super responsive owners and fenced yard. Great kitchen but not stocked with much besides coffee. Great if you want to heat up take out. Lots of steps- to get in the house and to the upstairs. Need to be agile. Beautiful dining room area.
