Did not have a good experience
While the property itself are generally fine, several issues significantly impacted our experience.
First, the hot tub was not in usable condition. The water level was low, and the water appeared murky, giving us the impression that it hadn't been maintained properly before our arrival. We raised the issue to the owner, but nothing really was done about it.
Additionally, the property is currently for sale. While this in itself wasn’t an issue, we were informed at 12AM that a realtor would be coming through that afternoon for a showing. Although it was a bit unusual, we accommodated the request and left the house to give them space. However, the next morning, a realtor showed up again at 10AM without any prior warning. We were still in our pajamas with our young daughter, which made the situation extremely awkward. The host only messaged us afterward. It resulted in an invasion of our space during what was supposed to be a relaxing holiday.
The owner initially offered a small compensation for the inconvenience, but we didn’t feel it was adequate considering the multiple issues we faced. After we asked for something more appropriate, the owner completely ghosted us and never got back to us. This lack of communication and disregard for our concerns was incredibly frustrating and left us feeling disrespected.
The issues with the hot tub, the unexpected realtor visits, and the owner's unprofessional behavior made our stay disappointing. We would not recommend staying here.
