“Staff were extremely helpful. I arrived late and my room had not been made up. They upgraded me to a lovely room with a view instead. View was breathtaking and hotel was well designed and great restaurant and bar”

“We had a great stay at 1740. It's a very homely and cosy hotel (good for the cold weather!). The staff were friendly, and we enjoyed talking to the woman on the front desk. Our only suggestion would be to reduce the size of the breakfast. The food was good, but we were only able to eat about a quarter of it. ”
