  • Looking to get out of the city? Come enjoy our rustic cabin, nestled right on Groom Lake 30 minutes past Huntsville. VERY comfortable bedding and spectacular lake views to wake up to. Sleeping cabin sleeps extra guests.Fire pit right on the water! BBQ for use.
    Will offer better price for 2-4 week rentals.

    Come enjoy our renovated slice of heaven! Lots to do. The swimming is fantastic and there’s nearby caves, hiking, waterfalls, kayaking and more! Kayaks included. Located right in the town of Kearney.

    Snowshoes for use in the winter. Close to Arrowhead Provincial Park and Hidden Valley Ski Resort to name a few! 2 sitting areas outside; one with screens.

IF YOURE READING THIS - YOU WANT TO COME HERE I PROMISE. After searching for several hours for a cottage, a camp site, ANYTHING, that ticked all of our boxes, this is the only one that not only came close to but exceeded expectations. I wanted a private location, right on the water, with a cute aesthetic, grill, campfire and kayaks, and I got all of it! Tree coverage is amazing, the lake is very nice and calm, the cottage itself is stocked and adorable. Only downfall is how many flies there are outside, but thats not something that can be controlled! I am 1000% returning here next year and telling everyone I know about this place. We even saw deer and moose! Loved the ps2 and wide variety of dvd selections as well. 10/10 trip

The property was beautiful with wonderful views of the lake. It was so great to be right on the lake, eat outside on the deck, sit at the campfire or on the dock. We kayaked and paddleboarded and swam. The cabin and bunkie were cute and well stocked. Communication was not great. Some things were listed as bring your own, like bedding for the bunkie, but then it was already supplied. A lot of extra packing that wasn't needed. I was disappointed with the cleaning. There was egg on the table and stove, crumbs and hair on the tablecloth. I mentioned it to the owner after we left so she would know. She said her cleaner was sick, and she took offense that her cleaning for 7 hours wasn't good enough. I felt it to be very rude. There was another incident that I felt her response was rude and uncalled for also.

Our recent stay

We had a fantastic stay here last week. The cottage was great. From the large windows facing the lake to the winding staircase to the loft bedroom, we couldn’t ask for anything more. The owners are very responsive and will provide you with all the info you need. Don’t hesitate to book your stay here.

Long weekend(Feb17-Feb20)

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It is cozy and clean with a great view of the lake. The hosts are always available if you have any question. We had so much fun in this cottage and we would definitely come back soon!

Did a girls weekend here and it was the perfect cozy cabin for us. So cute inside and a beautiful view outside! Very friendly owner. Can’t wait to come back!

Perfect time away

We had an amazing time at the cottage, so clean, everything you need they have. We enjoyed having coffee on the dock, meals on the deck and warming up by the fire at night. Looking forward to returning next summer.

Peaceful and fun visit

We had a blast and wished our stay was longer. Comfortable space, great kitchen and spectacular view of the lake. A very nice access point for swimming and getting out on a kayak. Just wish we saw more loons!

Cottage paradise

Great location, beautiful cottage on the waterfront, little things that were provided like drinking water and firewood go a long way and were appreciated. Would definitely recommend to others and would come back!

Absolutely ideal place

This place was everything we were hoping for. Charming cabin with an incredible view, a beautiful lake with a dock and kayaks, kind, responsive hosts and a wonderful location close to Algonquin park. Everything we needed was available. Our getaway was so restorative!

We had such an amazing time. Being right on the lake was awesome, the kids spent so much time swimming and simply enjoying the view. We really appreciated all the fun board games and the little karaoke machine. Lots of small touches to this cottage that made our stay stay absolutely memorable and fun!

Loved our stay at this rustic cottage

Our family had a great time spending the long weekend at this cottage. We were lucky with beautiful weather and got to enjoy the water. Jamie was very responsive and provided clear direction throughout the weekend. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again with our family in the future.

Our family enjoyed the property! Beautiful views of the lake from both the cottage and dock area. Cottage had a warm, cozy feel and was well furnished with Algonquin inspired decor. Kitchen was fully stocked and beds were clean with comfy duves. Host was friendly and accessible. Town of Kearney is close by if you need food or supplies and the people are very friendly. There are steep steps down to the property and lake so not ideal for individuals with mobility issues.

The best cottage in the area!!

Such a beautiful scenery right in front of the cottage. The cottage inside feels so warm, cozy and clean. Feels like my grandma's house. Would definitely come back!!

Can’t say enough good things!! Great facility, amazing fishing, kayaking. Town within minutes. Huntsville only 20 minute drive!! Definitely come back!
