“Did not like the abscence of humans until breakfast. The cook was obliging in making me a bacon butty for breakfast. The bed was comfy and the hotel was clean but a wee tired.”

“The drive resembles an entrance to building site, large pot hoke. Wall paper peeling off in bathroom, bed mattress bigger then bed base/6 inches over hang but was comfortable. Heavy duty curtains r/h hanging on by 2 clips, tv stand broken & lots of dust + no back up toilet roll. Didn't go down for second breakfast as it's not even continental. Corridor areas and the rooms we stayed in, although clean, large and functional seemed a bit tired and in need of a refurb. Powerful shower. Lift doesn't go to all floors. “Excellent breakfasts, the best scrambled eggs ever! The room was brilliant but ,would benefit from a small fridge. Great parking available. Only tiny negative was that there was no coat hangers in the room.”

“6 people stayed in our group. Disappointing that we were charged £25 per couple for early check-in. Even as it was only 30 minutes before normal check in. Reception was not up to speed with our bookings as we had pre-paid for everything but when we checked out they got mixed up and printed bill for full amount. Until we very politely informed them. Also whilst good range of breakfast delights very slow service”
