This property was exactly what we needed for a brief getaway trom the city. Every detail included in this lake home was thoughtful, from the toiletries provided in both showers to the snacks in the kitchen. Our crew of four (including one tall teenage boy) had space to sleep comfortably while also having separate spaces for privacy. The two bathrooms were a huge plus! Our dog especially loved chasing squirrels in the fenced-in backyard -- such a wonderful bonus for those traveling with pets. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable.One slight negative about our stay was the bed in the primary bedroom. My hubby and I kept rolling toward the middle of the mattress as the nights went on. Also, the water levels out back were too low to make use of the provided kayaks. However, this is not something the homeowners have any control over. These tiny details were easily overlooked because everything else was simply wonderful! A hidden gem is the brand new pickleball courts within a five-minute drive. Built by the city of Tool, these pristine courts were nearly empty during the weekdays. They are open to the public and also have lights for nightime play. Weekends were another story as far as crowds, but having access to these courts nearby is a HUGE plus for this property. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It is a wonderful value for everything that you get!
