“Such a strange place.
It is trying so hard to be amazing but falls short in many ways.
A few examples:
The staff enter the rooms almost every time you exit them. Even if just for a quick breakfast. This ruins any feeling of privacy.
The place is located very close to the end of the runway at Johannesburg airport. This means that there is so much noice from planes landing and taking off!
Within the walls it is like an oasis, but the surroundings are industrial and ugly.

“Purtroppo questo hotel, che fino a qualche anno fa era un buon punto di appoggio, sta peedendo punti. Non é accettabile trovare il portasapone della doccia arrugginito, il letto malfatto, frigo bar vuoto, ok la prima sera si trova una bottiglia d'acqua ma poi finita quella, nulla. Bagnoschiuma non rimpiazzato, aria condizionata rumorosissima. Colazione di scarsa qualità e poco varia, con un odore sgradevole che aleggia in tutto l'hotel. ”

“The hotel is clean, beds are comfortable, and hotel was quiet. The breakfast staff are exceptional !!! They were friendly , helpful, huge smiles, and amazing. They even allowed me an early packed breakfast so that I could attend a scheduled tour and have food ! The front desk staff was helpful as well. Only negative is the restaurant/ bar were closed, creating g a need to Uber food after breakfast.”
