Events and festivals are an excellent way to experience Kendal’s unique culture.

The Piggery is located on the ’Gateway to the Lakes’, providing easy access to the M6, Lake District and Yorkshire Dales. This makes it an ideal holiday retreat and touring base. The popular market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, home to Ruskin’s View is within 20 minutes’ drive. Ingleton with its scenic waterfall trail and Ingleborough Caves can be reached within 30 minutes’ drive. Pub within a mile. The Piggery can be booked together with Autumn Cottage (UKC6556) and Spring Cottage (UKC6557) to accommodate up to 18 guests.
