“Situated in beautiful countryside which presents ample opportunities for interesting walks and within easy driving distance of the attractions of the Lakes District. The "Barn" is beautifully kept and full of little personal touches. We loved it.”

“The property has been beautifully furnished and is very charming. It’s handy for the town centre and the Brewery Arts Centre. We’d recommend the Moon restaurant and The Fell bar on Lowther Street. Parking is not convenient or available and we were disappointed that the parking permit we were promised was not available when we arrived. “Great location. Close to amenities and lovely short walks to start the day off! As having young kids the bedroom locations (ground floor and loft) didn’t work for us so me and my husband had to split our sleeping arrangements so the kids weren’t alone. ”

“We had a wonderful time. The house is in a very peaceful setting, and we found the proximity to the Oxenholme Train Station to be extremely convenient. The house has all the modern conveniences while keeping a very rural and rustic setting. Highly recommended!”
