“Stayed in one of the apartments. Was huge, well equipped, clean and excellent location. The hotel staff can not do enough for you. Spa is brilliant, all facilities excellent, and 10/10 breakfast. Love the txting service where you can txt reception if you need anything. Apartments are directly above the pub which is great. Only 1 issue, wish we stayed longer. Will be back for sure x”

“We stayed at the Kings Head last weekend and had a lovely time. The pub itself is gorgeous, decorated beautifully, it is cosy and inviting and located in a lovely spot by the stream.Although the actual car park itself was small this was no problem as we parked literally a couple of minutes away on the lane, perfect as it allowed the opportunity to see a tiny red squirrel busy in a nearby tree. There is a beautiful little cabin that they decorate and you can add stuff like chocolate covered strawberries, which are to die for. “Clean and practical for our needs. ”

“Amazing, the photos do not do it justice, lovely cosy cottage a home from home and fully equipped. Great location, short walk to village incl pubs and chippy, also access to walks (which pass through livestick fields so dogs on leads). Grizedale forest was a short drive away with really good (long & short) walks, better for dogs off leads. ”
