“The house was as described. Clean and easy to find. A couple of things to know - the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are steep. We had a hard time keeping it comfortably warm, but to be fair, we were there during the midst of a winter storm with high winds - so challenging for an older home, and plenty of quilts and blankets on hand to keep everyone cozy. “We were pleased to find that the house was well represented in the photos. The rooms are huge, and the views of the lake are amazing. The house is old but in good shape, cozy, and perfect for our family gathering. Our daughters and our grandchildren joined us and there was plenty of space and everyone enjoyed it. Beds were comfortable and we provided our own sheets and towels. We appreciated having use of the 2 kayaks and 2 bikes. The on-site staff was very helpful whenever we had questions....

“Outstanding location and view. Good for family gathering. Just be prepared for bugs(spiders, mosquitos,). Also one of the bedrooms must be accessed thru the master suite( can be awkward if not family) nice yard for kids.”

Kitchen was well equipped and we were very comfortable. Lake steps were closed, but we enjoyed the access way. “This was a great house for a family vacation. A nice setup for parents with young kids, with many places to relax. The sun room was great for morning coffee, looking over the river and watching all of the different birds coming through. The canoe was a wonderful treat to take out and enjoy nature.
