“Staff was superb”

“Room was clean-ish. Getting to the room was incredibly interesting. We shared a wall with the kitchen which made for early morning. There was also junk at the door way between our corridor. Small things like no body mirrors, limited outlets, only one nightstand made the stay nor as enjoyable. Loved the vintage vibe and the styling of the hotel and the location”

“The St. Clair in Frankfort is a charming boutique stay in a beautifully restored historic building, with loft-style studios full of character, an easy walk to downtown restaurants, and a convenient drive to nearby bourbon distilleries and Churchill Downs. There’s even a hidden speakeasy on-site, if you can solve the riddle to get in! Just know that, as with many historic loft properties, you may hear some noise from guests staying above you.”

“The room was not ready on time, even though we arrived early. They said they would get to cleaning it right away, and still it was not ready on time. The floors were still wet when we walked in. Staff were smoking near the entrance regularly with the doors wide open.”

“Property is undergoing renovations. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Very clean room. Cant wait to return when renovations are completed.”

“Had me change rooms in the middle of my stay even though i told them i didn’t want to change rooms. Management was very rude to me. Management threatened to call the police on me and kick me out if i didn’t change my room at 12am after i got back from a 10hour shift. So i had to change my room in the middle of the night bc they said they didn’t have anything clean earlier in the morning.”

“The room was very nice. Great location. 2 of the 4 ice machines were broken. Breakfast buffet was subpar. It had the feeling of a very nice hotel that was in decline.”

“Rose Hill Inn is amazing! Beautiful room and very comfortable beds, lots of little touches (chocolates by the bed, waters and soft drinks in the fridge, coffee, complimentary breakfast which was delicious! Would highly recommend, will definitely be back! Very friendly owners!”

“The location was beautiful. But the house was very dirty and in need of much repair. The water smelled like poop. The toilet in our room was filled with waste. The ceiling downstairs right by the kitchen had a huge hole and pipes exposed. The front door was broken and needed much repair. The patio out back was filthy the kitchen a complete mess with dishes stacked in the sink. They had cats and dogs in the house and while I was eating a cat jumped up in my lap. “Hotel is nice and clean. Only BIG problem: I had wake-up call ordered at 3.30 bcs early morning flight… they forgot! Obviously I had also alarm on my phone, otherwise I had lost the flight. Completely unprofessional. ”

“We were doing a cross country trip in our airstream. We stayed one night at the BnB and absolutely loved the grounds, our room, and our host. She went above and beyond accommodating our airstream and our dogs.”
