Cottage a Keuka Park

“Nice place and setting but bring your cleaning supplies”

“This house was excellent. Very clean and had a well-stocked kitchen with everything you need. Also had plenty of towels for the family. The beds were very comfortable and it’s very quiet. Very easy to get to Penn Yan by car in a few minutes. We will definitely rent this property again.”

“There is NO house number on the building. The host did NOT provide us with info prior to arrival, we had to message him to get access. It appeared that check in was at 4:00, but turned out it was 3:00. The actual property appearance does NOT look like the pictures online. Outside is overgrown, dirty and cobweb’s everywhere. Inside smells musty and gross. Flies everywhere, spiders in the bathroom and shower. It was not clean under the bed. There’s no bathroom soaps or wash clothes and the towels...

Front porch was a great place to sit in the mornings and the neighborhood was clean and quiet. Kitchen was well stocked and loved the decorative touches ”

As we parked next to the house, the garage on the left (which belongs to someone else) had broken windows with junk inside the garage. Not a big deal but not a good first impression. The bathroom is very small and is directly off the kitchen. Kitchen and living room are adequate. Although there is an AC window unit in the window and if you sit in front of it, it is difficult to hear the tv. There is a train track by the house and...

“Great place with a great lakefront! Worked out perfectly.”

Although the water was accessible and beautiful the mini dock was not secured to the ground and could create an accident if someone is not balanced or aware. Unfortunately, there were no detergent pods for the dishwasher so dishes were not washed. It was our first encounter with the Finger Lakes region, but left underwhelmed. Our stay was on July 4th but unfortunately there were no festive activities in the...
