Ricciola @ l'allegato Truman

Recentemente ristrutturato in un divertente tema tropicale, l'Amberjack si trova sulla Southard Street, nell'esclusiva comunità gated di Truman Annex, molto vicino alla Little White House di Harry Truman e proprio nel cuore del centro storico di Key West; un ottimo posto per guardare la Parade di Fantasy Fest di ottobre, mentre tende la sua strada oltre la porta d'ingresso. Amberjack si trova a breve distanza a piedi da Mallory Dock, dove il tramonto è celebrato ogni giorno: Duval Street con i suoi negozi, ristoranti e divertimenti, e Fort Zachary Beach dove c'è un caffè sulla spiaggia e lo snorkeling impressionante. In meno di 2 minuti a piedi c'è un negozio di generi alimentari, Coffee Tea Café, Green Parrot Bar e Eaton Bikes dove è possibile noleggiare biciclette giornalmente o settimanali ad un tasso ragionevole. Se il ciclismo non è per te e non vuoi noleggiare un'auto, Pirate Scooters (situato di fronte al Green Parrot Bar) vi assumerà un'auto elettrica. La struttura dispone di un posto auto fuori strada. Amberjack offre tutto per una vacanza rilassante. Completamente aria condizionata in tutto con ventilatori a soffitto in tutte le camere. Al piano inferiore c'�� un ampio soggiorno / sala da pranzo / angolo cottura e un bagno di mezzo. La zona giorno vanta un divano accogliente che si apre in un lussuoso letto matrimoniale con un ventilatore a soffitto sopra, due ulteriori sedie comode, un televisore a schermo piatto / DVD, stereo CD, docking station per iPod e Wi Fi Broadband. C'è una cucina completamente attrezzata e un tavolo da pranzo che ospita quattro con due comodi sgabelli al bar della cucina. Il patio è arredato con tavolo, sedie, ombrellone e grill elettrico; perfetto per la cena Al Fresco in una serata balsamica di Key West. Griglia all'aperto. La piscina in comune è a soli 25 passi dalla porta del patio. Al piano superiore troverete la zona lavanderia, con lavatrice / asciugatrice impilabile e due camere da letto, una matrimoniale e una doppia (che può essere convertita facilmente in un re), entrambi con bagni privati, TV e balcone con tavoli e sedie.

Perfect Location in the Beautiful Truman Annex

Perfect location, beautiful grounds, very comfortable with all supplies included. Could use a bit of updating, but overall a very pleasant stay in Old Town Key West.

Very Clean

We love to stay in the Truman Annex and the Amberjack townhouse's layout is ideal for two couples or a family. The unit was VERY clean and the furnishings are nice. The fixtures are dated and could, maybe should, be updated. The only complaint we have is that the traffic, morning and night, on Southard Street is very noisy and will affect those sleeping in the upstairs front bedroom.

Great location!

The property was very nice and very well located. We didn't even rent a car, there is a nice bike rental place 50 meters from the front door. Easy ride/walk to the beach. Easy walk to Duvall (the main drag). Much has been made about the A/C. I understand the frustration but with ceiling fans, 75 was very enjoyable the whole week. My family highly recommends this house and world definitely stay here again.

Air conditioning needs repair. Toddler size toilets.

Nice property, excellent location, needs some upgrades. I will not go into the good as you can see that on the property listing. What you wont see is this taken from the Compass property management welcome letter paragraph 4 {Please keep the AC above 74: otherwise, you will freeze the system, you will become warm, you will get cranky, you will call our office, you will wait for the service tech and you will be charged for a service call to repair it, no exceptions.} This is not normal. I have lived in Florida over 40 years and purchased and repaired a large hand full of air conditioners. The AC unit in this rental needs repair to the condenser to stop the freezing issue. The result of not repairing the AC is that the property will feel very damp, and uncomfortable. This will also eventually lead to mold and other issues. The proper way to handle this issue would be to properly service and repair the AC, not to threaten guests against using the AC. We ended up making the best of our slightly cool and sticky rental with hope that future guests will not have to deal with this problem. Also please replace the child size toilets

Thanksgiving stay

My family and I stayed at this property for the week golf thanksgiving. Easy check in and check out, area safe and in walking distance to everything! House was clean could use air conditioner vents to be cleaned and bathroom fan did not work other than that it was a very nice townhouse really enjoyed our time here!

Our stay

There are some areas in this house that are in disrepair and need some attention some light switches are broken and the toilets are running the back deck is totally starting to rot in. it’s very soft to step on we were afraid to use that very much. The toilet seats need to be replaced. Other than that it’s a beautiful home it just needs a little bit of attention The bushes and shrubs around the air conditioner all need to be trimmed back out-of-the-way because I’m sure that’s not good on the electric bill. Thank you

Nice week with family

We had a wonderful time at condo. Linens were nice quality. Water pressure was great! Missed having a grill. A tad noisy due to location of condo. Easy walk to anything! We rented bikes which made the trip even more enjoyable.

Great Location

The property was in a great location. The unit was clean. The unit is very close to the community shared pool. The unit did not have an outdoor grill, so do not plan on barbecuing. We had to go to the store and buy paper towels since we were only issued 1/2 roll for the entire week. There was only one kitchen towel, and one bath towel per person, so we had to do laundry often. The kitchen had a blender, toaster and most of everything you will need for cooking. The unit is two blocks from Duval St. and close to most of the shopping, restaurants and museums. I would recommend staying here.

Roomy and Relaxing

Easy access to Duval St. and other Old Town activities! Private assigned parking space. Truman Annex is a beautiful neighborhood and you can even enjoy the sunset without fighting the crowd at Mallory Square. This townhouse has all you need - however there was no outside grill - but there is a half-bath on the first floor that wasn't mentioned. En suite bedrooms upstairs with washer/dryer gave all 3 adults convenience and privacy. Another reviewer mentioned street noise in the front bedroom - yes, true, mainly weekends, I used earplugs. Roosters, on the other hand, don't care what day it is! It's all part of the Key West charm! Rent this unit with confidence.

A GOOD TIME

5th time staying in the Truman Annex. 4th time renting 2 bedroom, 21/2 bath condo. My favorite one. The only thing the owner could add is a couple of beach chairs.

Good and less good

Property was clean and convenient to Old Town...walked or biked nearly everywhere we went. Loved Truman Annex, very nice area, though home was located on the edge by an active through street. Noise was a bit of an issue in the front bedroom, wound up using the bathroom fan for white noise by night 2. Not many amenities that we’ve seen at other rentals, coffee, tea, shampoo...Loaner beach towels were a mix of what previous tenants had left behind.

Perfect location

Had a wonderful 10 nights in Key West at Amberjack. Close to Duval street and a short walk to Mallory Square to walk to to watch the sunsets! Will definitely be back.

Great Location to Duval St

Nice property, great location to Duval St., pool for Truman Annex is just steps away in back of property. New community outdoor theater is one block away on waterfront, and Fort Zachary Taylor is a bit beyond that. I have stayed in many properties in Truman Annex and this house was very comfortable. I like the individual baths for each of the 2 bedrooms.
