Stepping through the white picket gate into this town home located in the gated Truman Annex community, in the heart of Old Town, you will find old-world charm along with high-end amenities. The open main floor has a beautifully renovated kitchen, a large sectional-sleeper and a 65 inch television. Upstairs are 2 ensuites each with well appointed recently updated full bathroom. A full size washer, dryer and gas grill are available. Just one hundred feet from the pool, this town home boasts 4 separate outdoor spaces. You will find the spot-on location to all Old Town Key West has to offer. An off street parking spot is included.

Please note: The minimum rental period is 29 nights/30 days, except for February, which is 28 nights.

Truman Anex

The condo was clean and convenient to area attractions. However there were a few issues … for the price we wish bikes and beach chairs were included as well as TV’s in the bedrooms . The bed mattress were very hard and uncomfortable . The back French doors were extremely hard to lock as we spent much time on getting them to lock correctly. The pool area and water was unpleasant. Overall we did love the location. Truman Anex grounds were lovely.

Beds and Keys

The property was in a great secured location. Fully equipped. Plenty of room for 4 adults. Our complaints: They need to invest in some mattresses and pillows. They were awful !! When booking the townhouse it did not state we had to go to the real estate office to get the keys for check in and return them when checking out. That was a huge inconvenience!

Perfect location and home

Two couples who always wanted to experience Key West finally got their act together and booked this home for one week. The quiet location away from the Duval Street highlights was perfect. The shared pool was just a few steps from the lovely back deck. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great time in the Truman annex

Our place was very nice that we stayed in. Had everything that we needed to be able to cook for ourselves including the grill that came in very handy for a couple of dinners. The pool for this property is fabulous heated I might add just said overall great experience.

Perfect Location

VERY Spacious first floor, along with a spacious deck in the back, and a small porch on the front. Kitchen was well equipped with all necessities. Two upstairs bedrooms were unfortunately NOT spacious, but each did have a balcony. No TV's in the bedrooms only down stairs. It was necessary to buy toilet paper and paper towels, we stayed a week. A call to the office informed us they only provide these items for ONE night. There was insufficient drawer space in both bedrooms. The closets only had shelving for storage, it was impossible to hang any clothes or garments. The excellent location of this unit is it's biggest asset. We were located just a few steps from the main entrance, and Duval Street was a 10 minute walk. The lack of covered parking was a disappointment.

Well needed vacation!

This property is well located to beaches and Duval street without the noise. Well equipped with anything you might need to cook a meal. Only suggestion would be a grill for barbecuing and lounge chairs on the back patio. Also a fan on the patio would have been awesome. But even without these things it was a great place that we would definitely consider again.

Awesome condo

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ascension! The condo was perfect and in a great location. We loved the seating in the living room and the bathrooms were wonderful. We definitely plan to stay here again!

FAMILY VACATION

We loved the property!! It had all the amenities of home and the beds and couch were super comfy. We would definitely book this place again! We did have a problem using the state park pass that we were told we could use. We reported the problem the day it happened. The guard at the guard shack to enter the state park beach took the pass away from us and told us we could not use it. We had used it for days without a problem and then all of a sudden one day it was a different guard, a young man, and he took it and said we could not use it since we were just renting the place. He was not very pleasant to us. That was upsetting because I felt bad for the owners of the pass!!! I hope they were able to get it back! Thank you for letting us stay at your home! Tammy Etherton

Great location!

This unit was bright, cheery, comfortable and a joy to rent! The location was perfect for a walking vacation! We did not rent a car and saw and did everything we wanted. Many nearby bars and restaurants, the Zachory Taylor beach, the piers, shopping, museums, Truman's Little White House, Ernest Hemingway's house and shopping all within a very short distance. Loved the whole experience! Already booked it for next year while we were there.

Very nice place for a family vacation

The place was very nice. The rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. I’m not sure if it’s always this way, but there were basics in the kitchen and bathrooms, like foil, saran wrap, trash bags, laundry detergent, shampoo, conditioner, and sun screen. The location is great ... very easy walk to Duval St., great restaurants and coffee shops. And we loved Truman Annex. It feels very private and quiet, yet it’s close to everything. We rented bikes and enjoyed riding all around Old Key West and Ft. Taylor. My only complaints—It would be nice to have a half bath on the main floor. Also, it appeared that the owner/property manager had been doing some renovations before our arrival. There were some paint cans left out and some nails on the back patio.
