Blue Heaven @ Truman Annex

I condomini del cantiere navale si trovano nella prestigiosa comunità recintata di Truman Annex nella zona della città vecchia di Key West. I condomini si trovano a 2 isolati da Duval Street e da tutte le attrazioni di Key West nella Città Vecchia. Le proprietà si trovano anche a 1,5 km dal Fort Zachary Taylor State Park. La proprietà è dotata di lavatrice / asciugatrice, pentole / padelle, asciugamani, lenzuola, aria condizionata centralizzata, parcheggio fuori strada e accesso alla piscina. Questo condominio del secondo piano del cantiere navale ha grandi e belle porte-finestre nel soggiorno E in ogni camera da letto. Si aprono su entrambi i balconi anteriore e posteriore con vista sulle cime degli alberi e sul centro storico di Key West. Elegantemente arredata, l'atmosfera da spa del Blue Heavens presenta soffitti a volta, pavimenti in ceramica e servizi completi, tra cui TV a schermo piatto e connessione internet wireless. Il soggiorno ha un divano letto per gli ospiti. Dopo un'intera giornata trascorsa a visitare le tante meravigliose esperienze dell'isola, torna alle comodità di casa. Il paesaggio curato, le palme verdeggianti e le staccionate bianche conferiscono al cantiere navale e all'annesso Truman un'atmosfera incantevole nel parco. Tutta questa tranquillità rende difficile immaginare che Duval Street, l'arteria centrale del divertimento di Key West, sia a soli due isolati di distanza. Nuovi televisori a schermo piatto nella zona giorno e padrone. La camera da letto con i gemelli non ha una TV.

Great condo, very clean. Very good location, close to everything we wanted to do. Only complaint was no power outlets on both sides of the bed and had to stand on the bed to turn ceiling fan light off and on.

Great place with access to a lot of what Key West has to offer. You can walk almost anywhere from Blue Heaven. Blue Heaven was a good fit for our family of four. It had everything we needed.

The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. The condo was spotless and had all the essentials. Perfectly situated for exploring the town. The pool was incredibly soothing. Overall, a fantastic condo!

Super tidy and well equipped. Everything was spotless. The balconies were wonderful. Back and front of unit. The entire process with the rental company was seamless and attentive. We will be rebooking this unit ASAP.

However, the property was a little under the usual standard of excellence we've seen on previous rentals at Truman Annex. With a little TLC, Blue Heaven could be a premier property, but as of now it looks a little neglected.Our observations:1. Bathroom grout dirty2. Bathtub appliques on bottom are mildewed3. Bathtub was plugged upon check-in. We had to call the plumber after Christmas, and he pulled a wad of hair out of the drain. Kind of gross to stand in rising water for three days.4. Toilet doesn't flush well5. Ceiling fans dirty6. A\C vents are dirty7. Kitchen cabinets are stickyThese are all easy things to fix with a little attention.

The parking spot is not near the condo location - had to drive around to find it. If going in the winter months as we did, the "snowbirds" at the pool are very intimidating - Our stressful experience at the community pool affected our rating for the overall satisfaction for our stay. Other than that, the condo was great.

40th Birthday in Key West

Place in a great location! Pool very nice! The unit itself outdated & not very clean—for the price we paid expected better. Love the decks/patios. Our tv/Wi-Fi wasn’t working which we weren’t there to watch tv, but had a person servicing at least 3-4 hours our first day there—putting in new box also in guest bedroom. With that being said we had a wonderful stay in key west with friends & family celebrating my 40th birthday!

Blue Heaven was even better than we could have hoped!

While the online pictures were great, we found Blue Heaven to be even nicer in person. The condo delivered everything it said it would and so much more. The beautiful hues of blue and tasteful beach decorations had us feeling relaxed the moment we walked in the door! The location was perfect for a walk to Ft. Zach beach or to Duval Street. The swimming pool was delightful. And the staff at Compass Realty was most accommodating and helpful. This was a great experience which added to our joy in celebrating friendship and a very special birthday! ;)

Great Stay

Location was perfect for our needs. We walked everywhere, the property was beautifully landscaped, and it was quiet and felt safe. The condo was within a couple minute walk to a playground and splash pad, which my children loved and we visited daily. The home was stocked with some things you may need (beach towels, some toiletries). Property staff called prior to our visit to provide details and promptly responded to our request for a late checkout due to our flight time. I would suggest the property look into another solution for keys (perhaps a keyless entry like they had downstairs). It was a bit of a hassle to pick up and drop off the keys at the property office, which is about a 10 minute walk from the home. Otherwise, we had a great visit at this property.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There are several maintenance issues that were obvious and that they should have been taken care of a long time ago. None of the doors opened adequately or not at all to the balconies. All of them except for the one out of the kitchen, which didn't open at all, you had to move furniture to open them. The closet door in the master bedroom was off its slide. The plug in the bathtub was on usable. It would have been nice to have an ice tray or two to make ice. None of the aforementioned ruined our stay but we never did use the porches because they were difficult to access. I am handy cat and I needed a parking place close to our condo and it took 2 days of pretty persistent commentary with the security to get it accomplished but finally they gave me a space nearby. The location was great.

Reviewer Comments: The unit itself was lovely and updated in terms of appliances, smart TVs, nice furnishings and supplies including beach towels and chairs. The only issue we noticed was a lot of evidence of termites, not an uncommon problem. The only real issue was the revolving door of people in the downstairs unit which had a lockbox on the unit with different people coming and going every 1-2 days. Some were fine but a couple were loud including one large group that rolled at 1am and woke us up. I did not call security but just went down and banged on the door. In the future I would call security immediately to document a report. Otherwise all the other neighbors were quiet and lovely.
