This grand mansion begs for your company with a frosty beverage in hand and a balmy breeze to carry away your troubles. Sitting under a wild orchid tree on Southard Street, you are a stone's throw from the magic and excitement of Duval and the historic seaport. Slip on your comfiest flip flops and ease on down to fabulous dining, boutiques and galleries. A contactless check in/out process with a virtual innkeeper allows for a seamless experience!

DETAILS AND AMENITIES...
Your serenity begins as you pass through the white picket gate and step foot on the lush grounds of this vibrant and picturesque estate.Take a break from reality out on the front porch as you soak up gorgeous tropical views. A blend of coastal decor and tropical-chic accoutrements captivate your bohemian soul and beckon you inside the front door. As you enter, take a cool respite in the parlor that offers plush seating, a Keurig machine, unlimited coffee k-cups, microwave, ice machine, and a filtered water cooler. Read your favorite novel by the light of tropical sunshine or turn on cozy lamps when the sun sets. A wall-mounted TV offers an alternative diversion while you are waiting for your night out on the town. You will also find extra towels and an area for storing luggage during your arrival or departure. A lovely, small powder room is located at the base of the stairs for your comfort and convenience.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS...
This king studio is located downstairs and adjacent to the pool area. It is wheelchair ramp accessible and offers wide floor space as well as a shower with seat for ease and mobility. A closet and dresser offer ample space for your belongings and you can enjoy your wall-mounted TV when you need a rest from your island outings. Enjoy a Keurig machine for your morning cup of coffee as well as a mini fridge for all of your essentials.

OUTDOOR LIVING...
The exquisite upper balcony and lower porch overlook a large, sparkling pool (heated in winter months) and beautifully landscaped garden deck. Wash your cares away with a swim and enjoy a fruit-infused cocktail in your deck lounger. Discover your zen amid the lush vegetation and cool island breezes.

PARKING...
There is street parking only. You may park on the street in spaces not marked as residential. There are several non-residential spaces in the surrounding area, and also a pay lot less than 2 blocks away, but you can usually find something on the street.

A little paradise in Key West

This place is a true paradise nestled in the heart of Key West’s old town. After a day at the beach or a delightful dinner at one of the restaurants near by, we would spend our afternoons relaxing and soaking up the sun at the swimming pool. Our room was absolutely gorgeous, and the surrounding landscape was simply breathtaking. Definitely, we will be back and stay in this place every time we come back to Key West.

Awesome location/property!

This property is very clean, and very accommodating. It is located so close to all of the action and you can walk anywhere within minutes of the front door. The parking lot instructions given were great and the lot was easy/safe!

A little bit of heaven

Very lush and beautiful. We loved the location of area and of our room, the Julie. Very private and pool right outside our door. Everything we needed was there. Parlor was lovely and nice place to hang other than your room. Front porch with rocking chairs were the cherry on top. Lovely vacation stay.

Anniversary Hideaway

Our stay at the Scarlet Mango couldn’t have been better. The property is fantastic. The location on the island makes it perfect to get to any part of the island. The pool was clean and an oasis on hot days. It felt very private and other guests were great to get to know. 10/10 would stay again!

100% Location

This hidden gem is wonderful. Located perfectly to walk to everything you want to do and eat, bars, live music. The room is big and bed is comfortable after a long day. We loved our visit and enjoyed pool late in afternoons before dinner. Highly recommend booking a sea plane to Tortagus NP- amazing experience while in town. Openwood restaurant also 5stars. Sunsets at Sunset Pier, gets busy so go early. Loved our KeyWest trip.

The room and property are just beautiful. Lovely decor. Bed was very comfortable. Loved the Keurig in the room. Water pressure was great in the shower. Room and property were all very clean. Location was very convenient! Had a few questions and the property manager was very responsive. Super easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Cute room and nice location

We stayed here for an anniversary trip and found the room and property very cute and charming. It was well located between the marinas and Duvall, which worked great for us. We had water activities planned as well as Duvall activities. The concierge service was very accommodating and appreciated.

Beautiful & Cozy Inn

We really enjoyed the room, location, and pool! It’s a beautiful inn. Arrived on a Wednesday and didn’t see anyone else on property till late Thursday! We loved that! We enjoyed the pool with no one around. 5-15minute walk to everything downtown. Pictures are accurate online. Made a couple recommendations for a dehumidifier and extra towels to innkeeper. Great customer service and communication .

Overnight in Key West

In town for a quick trip to Key West. Property was very clean and well maintained. Huge bathroom with a nice shower. Pool was perfect and the communication was very clear. Would definitely stay again!

Elegant and serene restored Inn

We enjoyed our stay at Scarlet Mango Inn tremendously! A beautifully restored retreat to return to at the end of a long day, close to all the fun and good food in Key West! We loved the soothing spa-like pool and garden setting . Just lovely!

Best accommodations and location in historic Key West

Wonderfully comfortable room and splendid location for sights and dining. The housekeepers were exceptionally thorough and thoughtful. The amenities were great as was the pool and grounds.

Great location, close to Duval Street and Malory Square

The room was gorgeous, bed and linens fabulous. Shower was zero entry and huge. The pool looks great for lounging, not swimming. It was too cold for us to get in, which is not a reflection on the unit, just the unusual weather the dates we were there. Location was great, to walk just a few blocks, maybe 10 minutes, to Malory Square, multiple bars along the way. Walgreens about a block away with some food items. Parking could be challenge, it is on street parking with nearly every space reserved for residents. The on street parking that is available is very expensive, $40 for 10 hours. We found a lot about 2 blocks away at 808 Southard for $15 a day starting at 11 am each day. That worked ok for us. We unloaded, then parked. The Hop on Hop off bus took us everywhere else we wanted to go, or we just walked. The next item is a personal preference, it may not be important to everyone. There was no chair of any kind to sit on to tie shoes, etc. The bed is fabulous, but too tall to use as somewhere to sit. The other thing, which is very unusual, and likely not an issue for another 30 years, is there was no heat in the room. Christmas day was 55 degrees, and was the coldest in 30 years. So not likely an issue going forward. We youtube how to use the air/heat unit in the room, but it would not work. This is a great little place, like a big, fancy hotel room, in a great location.
