Summary:
Welcome to Carey's Corner, a hidden little gem located at The Galleria complex in the heart of Bahama Village.

The Galleria Guesthouse was once a haven for traveling artists who frequented Key West to find inspiration and show off their work in the nearby art galleries of Duval Street. With a tranquil pool area and spacious sundeck, The Galleria has been transformed into an oasis for all travelers looking for relaxation and inspiration during their time in Key West.

The Space:
Carey's Corner is a very small, 2nd floor studio offering a comfy Queen bed, en suite bathroom, and convenient kitchenette. The kitchenette comes equipped with a mini-fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee supplies. Enjoy free WiFi and cable TV during your stay in this cozy studio. There is also a shared laundry room on site that guests are welcome to use

Guest Access:
Our guests will receive two access codes prior to their arrival. One code will be used to access the hallway. The second, will be used to access the room.

Shared Features: Heated pool available from 8am - 10pm daily with lounge chairs, balcony and deck space, bike parking and picnic table.

The Neighborhood:
Bahama Village is a historic, mostly residential neighborhood just a few short blocks from the main strip of Duval Street. Visitors love this area due to its beautiful, Bahamian-inspired atmosphere, as well as its close proximity to famous attractions and amazing food options. Walk, bike, or scooter down to the Southernmost Point, Key West Lighthouse, Butterfly Conservatory, Truman Waterfront Park, and the Earnest Hemingway Museum. Enjoy some of Key West's most popular restaurants such as Blue Heaven, Santiago's, Firefly, and Rams Head Southernmost.

Getting Around:
There are a variety of great ways to explore Key West including by bicycle, pedi-cab, Moke, scooter, golf cart, Uber, Taxi, or by foot. As this unit is located in downtown Key West, many attractions are within walking distance. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!

Parking Information:

Please note that there is no designated on-site parking provided, however, free street parking is available on a first-come first-service basis. Should you find a parking spot, please note you can not park in one marked "Residential" and some spots may be pay-to-park on neighboring streets.

Other Things to Note:
- Please be advised that this studio is very small and might not be comfortable for some guests.
- There is a shared washer/dryer available on the first floor next to the pool area.
- Pets are welcome! Our requirements are as follows:
- 40lb maximum per pet
- $15/night per pet
- 2 pet maximum

Please let us know if you plan on bringing your pet.

First Time in Key West!
Awesome location! The description is accurate and was perfect for the two of us as we explored Key West. Hosts were very responsive. We did not find the neighborhood sketchy as one review described. It was local which, for us, was far more interesting. Great access to everything! Would stay here again!

Weekend getaway
Me and my fiancé wanted a weekend away after spending alot of time with family and him going back to work ( he’s in the military ) so we needed some much needed time together! I had never been to key west before and this place was PERFECT. it was the perfect location, amazing price, the hosts were amazing and so quick to get back to us about everything during the booking process and after! The place itself was the perfect size for just us 2, so cozy, and had everything we needed for our stay. I can’t wait to stay here again! It was lovely!

It was a nice experience. The property was a bit small for 2 people and a small dog. I would have liked a chair in the room or a small dresser to put your clothes. Other than that, the place was very clean and pretty.

It is uniquely compact. The bed pushed tight in a corner was a bit inconvenient for the one person. All utilities worked flawlessly. The digital codes to access the building/room had a slight learning curve but easy after that. The balcony & chairs were nice!

Scheduled this trip last minute for our 49th wedding anniversary.
Great location. Very quiet neighborhood with easy access to the southernmost point, and all the attractions along Duvall. Parking was available in front of the unit. Had a great time.
