K'gari. “Villa Cooloola Calm” at Kingfisher Bay Resort

Welcome to K'gari (Formerly known as Fraser Island) Kingfisher Bay Resort. Villa Cooloola Calm is a 2 bedroom (fully aircondition) self-contained holiday villa located in the award winning “Kingfisher Bay Resort”, located on the western side of K’gari. This villa is an ideal location elevated above the resort allowing you to enjoy the beach (a three minute walk) or discover the amazing scenery of K’gari by 4WD or Tour Coach.
This villa sleeps 4 but can be increased to sleep 5 with a temporary cot bed at a small additional cost (please request in the booking). The villa has a queen size bed in the main bedroom with two single beds in the second bedroom. The bathroom has a large shower which is easy to use for families with children. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, microwave, gas stove and everything else you may need. This villa has high-speed internet access, with Smart TV in the living area. Free parking is available outside the villa.
As a guest you have access to all the resort facilities including 3 saltwater pools and spa, tennis courts and other water facilities (some of which will incur a cost). There are also a number of award-winning restaurants and the recently renovated "The Sandbar".
There is a junior Eco Rangers program available during most school holidays and is run by the resort allowing adults to enjoy the resort restaurant and bars.
A 2WD can be used to access Kingfisher Bay resort via the ferry/barge with bookings made through Sealink K'gari. To visit the amazing sights of K’gari such as Lake Mackenzie, Eli Creek and Centrals Station a 4WD vehicle and a national parks permit is required. The national parks permit is booked online via the National Parks website. We can arrange for a second unit (C708) directly adjacent to C709 to cater for large families or groups.
“Villa Cooloola Calm” is managed by Kingfisher Bay Resort and keys are available upon check-in at the reception. As the villa is privately owned we ask that all guests treat the Villa as you would your own home.

Illumina uses Kingfisher Bay Resort's surrounding native environment as an artistic platform to immerse guests into the brilliance of K’gari (Fraser Island).
Illumina shows are nightly in the foreground of Kingfisher Bay Resort and invites all guests of the resort to join in marvelling at the incredible ecosystem that has been World Heritage-listed for over 30 years.
