Maui Banyan #H-405 Partial Ocean View, Great Location, Near Kam II Beach

Maui Banyan #H-405 is a 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit on the 4th floor with a partial ocean view, a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 flat-screen TVs, a dvd player, and free Wifi. There is a new (April 2024) California king bed and a queen sofa bed, a shower-tub combo in the master bath, and a walk-in shower in the guest bath. Window unit air condition in both the living room and bedroom. For outdoor activity, Maui Banyan #H-405 is supplied with beach chairs and beach towels. Sleeps 4.
A resort fee of $10 per day is included in the booking charges. Minimum is $30; maximum is $180.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.
We work to maintain a very accurate website. At times furniture, decor or flooring may be upgraded and pictures are not updated yet. This would not change the seating, sleeping, function or views of the condo. Amenities are accurately and clearly listed for your convenience.
Maui Banyan Resort is situated on 8 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds located in South Maui across the street from the popular Kamaole Beach Park II. This white sandy beach is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. It is a 5-minute drive to the Wailea Resort shops, golf courses, and tennis courts. Maui Banyan features a swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ area, tennis court, and covered parking.

Good property in great location. The property needs a good thorough cleaning. Repairing the lock on the patio door, making that same door roll easily and quietly and cleaning or replacing the carpet in the bedroom would make it an even better place. I would definitely rent this same property again.

Great unit , bad bed

The bed is old and lumpy. They thrived to correct it with a mattress pad that kept shifting and wouldn't stay in place. Made for poor sleeping conditions. Underneath the mattress is falling apart and needs to be replaced. When you replace the matress lmk and I'd gladly stay there again.

The property was nice and well stocked. Even the beach amenities were well stocked; beach chairs, Beach umbrella, boogie boards, and cooler. The pools and hot tubs were very clean and nice.

Adequate for us. Great location. Harbor 15 minutes. Access to Costco/Walmart 20 minutes. Access to beach 3 minutes. Nice beach. Good snorkeling. Condo is showing its age. Verging on shabby. Could be much cleaner. Needs update. Nice property. Pool. Great management.

I loved Maui but not this condo.

I had to clean the shower floor because it was so dirty. There were only 6 forks., so I bought some. The mattress wasn't great. I think the whole unit needs to be deep cleaned. I understand you have to turn these condos around quickly but I don't think you would want to stay here either.

Good location

The condo was clean, well stocked and well located, right across from Kam II beach. The decor feels like it was originally done well, but hasn’t been updated in a while. We ran into Lynsey, the local manager, on the way into the condo and couldn’t have been kinder. She was coming to replace some items and shared some tips and places to check out on the island. The space was fantastic-roomy and 2 bathrooms with beach chairs, towels and umbrella to borrow.

Let me just list the pros and cons right off the back. My husband and I traveled with our 1 year old and teen. Cons: OUTDATED. no view of the ocean, covered by trees and such. Noticed some kitchen utensils still had food left on it. The mattress to the bed was horrible, you can feel the springs. Tub was abnormally taller in the master bath, my husband and I kept hitting it as we stepped out after showering. Parking structure sucked, we were only allowed to park on the 3rd level (1&2nd are for residents) & the spaces were pretty compact (we drove a full size SUV), only stairs, no elevator. We had to take the level ramps up and down because we had a stroller which was such a safety issue considering the cars that constantly drove up the ramps for parking that we started parking by the pool or getting dropped off at the front after the 4th day of our stay. The extra pillows in the closets had stains on them. Pros: air conditioning in both bedroom and living area/space. They had more toiletries inventory than what was listed so we didn’t need to spend the extra money on toilet paper, trash bags, detergent, etc. Sofa was a pull out bed but the couch was more comfortable. They had beach chairs, small ice chest, pool floaties, beach towels, beach umbrella, etc for us to use during our stay. The pool area was really nice with a hot tub. Shopping and food was a 5-10 mins walk. Beach was literally across the street. The app we used was really convenient.

Great condo and location

My husband and I rented this condo for our honeymoon and we had an amazing stay! It had everything we needed and great stuff for the beach days we had. It was a quick drive from the airport and pretty central to do all the fun things we had planned (Haleakala, road to Hana, snorkelling). Thanks so much for a great stay- we loved it and Maui!

Love the Maui Banyan

We love the location and stay at the Maui Bayan often. This unit was a bit dated but an good price so overall we were pleased. The management was responsive to the few issues we had, mostly Auth the door code.

Loved the fact that there were beach chairs for us to use during our stay as well as a little cooler. Very spacious condo. All amenities were useful. Very clean place. Also well situated, so close to a beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Lovely location with great amenities

Great location within walking distance of Fred's Mexican cafe, a great beach, and a very good liquor store. Easy driving to all major Maui attractions. Cleaning amenities and hand soap were provided for in sufficient quantity for the length of our stay. Cleanliness was generally good, though some dishware was quite greasy and some linen items could have been cleaner. Two blenders in the unit was a nice touch and appreciated. Knives were almost too dull to use though. cookware was useful and pans were in good shape. Resort amenities were lovely, we used the grills, the pool, and the tennis court during our stay.
