Shores of Maui #223 Great Ocean View! Near Cove Beach a Fun place to Surf!

Shores of Maui #223 is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit on the 2nd floor with a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, 2 flat-screen TVs, and free WIFI. There is a king bed in the bedroom, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. The living room has a window unit air conditioner, the bedroom is cooled with a ceiling fan. There are ceiling fans in both the living room and bedroom. The bathroom features a walk-in shower only (no tub). Shores of Maui #223 is supplied with beach chairs and beach towels for memorable days at the beach. Sleeps 4. Please note: This unit is on the second floor with no elevator available.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Shores of Maui is located across the street from Cove Park in Kihei, a popular surfing and stand-up paddling spot. It features a tennis court, barbecue grills, swimming pool, and hot tub.

Unpleasant

While the ocean view is undeniably the property's strongest feature, and the accommodations may be sufficient for group travel, my personal experience fell significantly short of expectations.Upon arrival, I discovered a concerning pest issue—sugar ants consistently present on kitchen countertops and an abundance of flies concentrated around the couch and sliding door areas. After promptly reporting these issues to management, the response was inadequate, consisting only of the delivery of ant bait stations without addressing the underlying problems.The lack of effective resolution to these hygiene concerns substantially diminished what could have otherwise been an enjoyable stay. The stunning views unfortunately could not compensate for the ongoing pest issues and insufficient management response.

Pleasant stay and great location

I stayed here for 4 nights and enjoyed every second of it. Apt was clean, they had beach chairs available, nice view to the water from balcony. I would absolutely stay here again.

Whales from the balcony.

It was a great place for us, clean and as the pictures described it. And we enjoyed the tennis court, the pool and in particular the beautiful sunsets from the balcony.

Great location, clean property

The location is great - ocean view, walking distance to many restaurants. Property was clean, but dated. The bathroom & floor has been renovated, but the rest could use an update especially the bed. Feels like memory foam topper was put on an old mattress. The master bedroom can get pretty warm even when running all the & the AC in the living room. The whole place seems to tilt to one side as well. You walk "uphill" coming out of the bathroom. Because of this, only 1 of the doors in the shower stays closed & the screen door for the lanai slides open. Fun house floors is the term my husband used to describe them. We had a couple of issues (sink leak, broken dryer) that we contacted property management about & they were awesome! Sat night we'd left a message on the regular line about an issue expecting to hear back on Mon, but they called us Sun am & sent someone over to fix the dryer. Def recommend the property management company.

The bed is a total disaster. The unit is very aged. It’s hard to climb the poorly structured narrowed staircase especially if you have luggage or you have knee issues. Overall, this was not a good property for the money they charged. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Had a great time in this wonderful location. View of the beach/sunset (across the street) was beautiful. Wifi wasn’t working but we had unlimited phone plans so we weren’t too affected by it. Overall good place to stay.

Absolutley loved this condo and everything about it! Location was amazing ! Only down side was the washing machine wasn’t the greatest but that isn’t even necessary to begin with. Would recommend 100%.

Great view & fun area

Nice condo with a great view of surfers. Very walkable area. Happy hours at restaurants 4 minutes walk along with food trucks. Great beaches to snorkel at with sea turtles short walk away.
