“Everything about this hotel was truly wonderful. On arrival we received a warm welcome followed by a free room upgrade. The room was roomy, well equipped and clean. The hotel facilities also did not disappoint - the spa was a good way to start the day, whilst the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back if we are ever in the area again”

“Lovely couple of days spent in York. Hotel in a good location with secure parking & only 10 - 15 minutes walk into the town centre. We only had breakfast in the hotel but it was very nice buffet style with plenty of choice continental & cooked. Staff where helpful and attentive and the hotel had very nice open plan décor. The pool area was very clean. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.”

“I thought this was a fabulous, up market hotel. The rooms were fabulous, the pool gorgeous in fact everything was great. The only thing that spoiled my stay was the breakfast. The breakfast menu was extensive, but only for cooked breakfast. I don't eat cooked breakfast. I asked for cereal and toast. I was given a small box of corn flakes (no choice) 2 slices of toast and a mini jar of marmalade for us both. My partner had a cooked breakfast and therefore no cereal. There is a definite need for...
