“This was an absolute gem of a place. The owners were so thoughtful and provided just about every kind of tea, coffee, wagon wheels, tunics tea cakes and a cracking breakfast !
Room was compact but contained everything one needed when doing the west highland way and it is literally on route (about 6’ away).
So much nicer than the enormous campsite hippy hobbit house place and the saga-bus-holiday hotel.”

“La camera era molto pulita, grande e ben arredata. Stessa cosa per il bagno. Buona disponibilità di parcheggio e buona ricezione del wifi. Buono anche il ristorante con pub annesso. Piuttosto silenzioso.
Colazione abbondate con tante varietà di cibo sia salato che dolce. Personale molto cortese e disponibile. Ci ritornerei sicuramente.”

"Large clean room with shared bathroom (it wasn’t clear this was the case when booking, but the other room was unoccupied). Fantastic location, quiet. Good value for money."

I asked for luggage deposit next morning as I was on a day tour (like 80% of tourists in Oban) but I wasn't allowed due to a private event.

"Because we had a bad experience at the restaurant outside the hotel (the only one working in one-hour driving area) we chose to dine at the hotel. They told us that the chef was alone that night (Saturday) and could take up to one hour to eat something (7:30PM). We had no choice and asked for veggie burgers, but they didn’t have any (again, on Saturday night with tons of tourists around). We ended up eating fries for dinner. To excuse, the staff arranged a small snack before our departure the next day. It was really kind of them but this doesn’t cover the lack of organization for such an important hotel."
