“Morag and Davey were wonderful hosts with a beautiful home. Morag making sure I was happy and making a beautiful cooked breakfast every day I was there. Davey even reinflated my tyre with his tractor so I could get my car to the local tyre fitting place. “Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.”

“Clean room, lovely decor. Little touches that made it all that more cozy and welcoming. Decorative wallpaper, throw blanket and pillows that matches the room decor. Just lovely. Bed wasn’t super hard which I loved. Book beds are usually miserably hard and this was nicer would have loved memory foam even more, but they did have one in a room it was just booked. Lovely hosts. Alyx was great, as was Derrick, Gary and everyone at the hotel. Would def return! ”

“Balnearn House is a lovely B&B in a small village. The rooms are comfortable and there was a nice garden area. There were a couple of nice restaurants & pubs within walking distance. The owners are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again.”
