“Hubby and I were long overdo for a getaway. A last minute decision had us looking for a cozy weekend cabin and this place fit the bill. We were delighted with this little retro A-Frame! “Karen's Kottage is Kute and Komfortable! Sweet, petite cottage with a retro feel throughout. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having fans in each bedroom for white noise. “The pictures do not do this place justice. We had a magical stay here on the lake. The view is absolutely stunning and there are windows everywhere you look. We used the kayaks and paddleboard as much as we could. There’s corn hole and other games and tons of outside seating to enjoy the view. Kids were occupied either fishing from the dock, enjoying the water, or playing in the game room. From the house you can see a nice sunrise and sunset and even see the reflection of the moon on the water....

“Overall: This property did exactly what it was meant to do- allow us to relax and enjoy eachothers company for a week! Cons of our stay though- The water is not swimmable, we had to travel to a near by lake to actually go swimming. The house did not include a table, so it was hard to play our card games. The kitchen included a breakfast bar with stools for eating meals but not great for playing games. The week that we stayed was the hottest of the year... no ones fault, just ended up that way....

The home was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out with lots of good sleeping and inside and outside hanging out spaces. Michael has provided EVERYTHING you could need or think of. There were even bath bombs by the jacuzzi tub! Making supper was so easy, the kitchen has all the equipment and utensils literally all I had to do was bring the food. There's even complimentary coffee!
