Thank you for taking the time to post this review. Our Golf course has an ongoing maintenance programme which always has to be more intense after a good summer. I do hope you return to Thurlestone to see the improvements.

I am also sorry that the Barman was unable to provide you with a martini - we do offer a selection of cocktails including martini so we will ensure that his training is updated. All feedback is very important to us and we really appreciate any comments regarding your stay to ensure we maintain the high standards and expectations of our guests. I was very sorry that you were disappointed with your bedroom and that you were disturbed by noise from outside the hotel. It is unfortunate that we do not have air conditioning and appreciate that due to the beautiful, but hot, weather you would want to leave the windows open - I can only apologise for the disturbance. The bottle bank at the bottom of our car park is used by the local residents from the village and although we do ask them not to use it early in the morning or late at night this is not always adhered to so once again our sincere apologies. With regard to our rooms we do have several different room types here at Thurlestone from the standard through to the deluxe and within each room type they do vary in size and décor. I am sorry that you left disappointed with your room on this occasion. I thank you for kind remarks regarding the other aspects of the hotel and hope that we can tempt you back to take advantage of our wonderful sea view.
