“Our boys fished the entire day and night away catching and releasing! There was plenty of outddoor space for a family get together. We had great host that answered any question we had. The house is exactlly as shown in pictures. The "cozy sleeping area" is just as much a bedroom as the others. We visit p.a often as i have family there! We have found our new everytime stay! With this home!”

“The property is spacious, well appointed, and comfortable. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 dogs. The sunsets are beautiful off the Susquehanna. Dogs used the boat ramp to swim. Privacy and idyllic. We enjoyed the fire pit, grill, and eating outside on the deck. There is no formal table seating, but enough stools on the big island if you need to eat indoors. All in all, a lovely, relaxing, easy 3 days.”

“The home is cute and was comfortable for our needs. It was clean and decorated nicely and had everything we needed. TVs galore, air conditioning and outstanding enclosed sun porch. It was minutes away from the University of Scranton. We enjoyed our 3 day stay for our daughters graduation.”

“We simply loved our stay at this back country home. Our children loved the arcade and the pond. We had a scenic 20 minute drive to Elk Mt. Ski Resort. The check in was super smooth and the house sparkling clean. We cant wait to come again on our next ski trip to Elk!!!”

“Our good friends daughter was getting married at the Fern Hall Estate and we did not like the hotel options provided. We couldn’t have had a better weekend. The house is bigger and better than the listing shows. We were a party of 8 adults and a 1 year old and theee was plenty of room for all. The house was furnished beautifully.”

“Great place to stay. Cannot get any closer to Elk Mountain. Fireplace kept us warm. Beautiful home inside and out. The host left so many condiments (bottle of wine, etc.). Only downside was the strange showers & was very muddy due to the weather, not the hosts' fault of course. Dennis H”
