Azalea Falls Lodge - Upper Buffalo River Ozark Getaway

Soggiornare all'Azalea Falls Lodge è "come stare in una meravigliosa casa sull'albero" che "si affaccia su un incantato". Due cascate bellissime ma stagionali hanno scavato questa depressione nel corso dei secoli. lasciando una zona incontaminata e primordiale piena di case rocciose, azalee selvagge, scogliere a picco e abbondante fauna selvatica.

Situata in cima alla cavità di fronte alla cascata stagionale di 85 piedi, la 3000sf lodge è una casa in stile Frank Lloyd Wright costruita in pietra, vetro e sequoia. È il sogno di un appassionato di outdoor che si avvera e protegge i 150 acri circostanti. Il 3000sf di ponti e patii ti invitano a guardare le stagioni che cambiano, gli uccelli e gli scoiattoli al mattino e la luna e le stelle di sera e la sfilata di fauna selvatica che migrano attraverso l'area.

All'interno c'è un lusso non comune per la zona del fiume Buffalo. Ogni comodità moderna è combinata con bellissime decorazioni per la casa e abbondanti opere d'arte, in gran parte da artisti locali. Generazioni di antichità e oggetti da collezione vi faranno sentire a casa, rilassati e rinnovati. "In pace", "qualità spirituale" e "magico" sono alcuni dei commenti usati per descrivere l'atmosfera del lodge e dei suoi dintorni. Comfort e spazio per respirare sono assicurati da 3 camere da letto, 3 bagni completi, vasca idromassaggio, cucina completamente arredata e 2 camini in pietra (con legna in stagione). Questi servizi sono migliorati solo da TV satellitare, DVD / VCR, impianto stereo, telefono, Wifi e 3 divani letto per gruppi più grandi. Il lodge è stato progettato per essere una residenza privata e le tariffe sono per l'affitto della casa nella sua interezza.

Naturalmente mescolato con le splendide montagne di Ozark, l'Azalea Falls Lodge è molto privato, ideale per piccoli matrimoni, viaggi di nozze, fughe romantiche, celebrazioni per l'anniversario, riunioni di famiglia e ritiri di chiese o di lavoro.

Great place to unwind and relax

Like a step back in time the house was decorated warm and cozy you just wanted to pick up a book and curl up by the fire place and read all day. The kids loved it they loved hiking the mile trail and the cookies in the tin Kathy left for us and the candy in the jar. It was very peaceful in the woods The big deck was great to sit on in the morning and have coffee. Great place for the family to all unwind and catch up with each other again

Girl Trip

The home is fascinating. We could have wandered throughout it for days.The detail and design are amazing. Kathy is a lovely host and the grounds are gorgeous. We were fortunate enough to see the falls in all their glory and hiked to the lower and upper levels. The deck has perfect views of all things nature and bird watching which made for a great backdrop to relax and catch up. Also, this house was SPOTLESS (a hard feat so embedded in nature). You are not far from Steel Creek Campground which is a great stop to get out and enjoy the Buffalo National River, Boxley Valley for elk watching, and Jasper, AR. Great trip all around!

Can't recommend enough

Thank you for your lovely hospitality. We are so grateful that you shared your beautiful property with us for this time. You really pay attention to the details. I have never been to such a well-stocked rental. Your care for your guests is obvious. A highlight for me was reading about Alf in the coffee table book about thomg trees of Newton County. It was a delightful read. Your night sky view is sensational. We were very excited to stay at your place, and our stay exceeded our high expectations! I hope we will meet again!

Charming and relaxing cabin the woods

The buildings are beautiful and fit neatly into the landscape. The luxury of the cabin and lodge are a welcome relief after a wonderful but exhausting day spent in the wind, water, and sunshine. Think jacuzzi for sore muscles and cold a/c to help you relax.

Hidden Gem

Three of us took a trip to northern Arkansas in April to float the Buffalo river and hike the trials. We stayed two nights at the Azalea Falls Lodge near Kingston. We were very surprised by, and impressed with the accommodations. Two very spacious bedrooms, at third small bedroom, a nice kitchen and great living areas. The lodge is set on a cliff overlooking a fantastic waterfall. We were fortunate to have the falls in full flow and spent most of the time on the huge deck enjoying the sound and view of the falls. Be sure to bring food with you as there are no restaurants and very few stores nearby.

Stunningly Beautiful Lodge and On-site Hiking Trail

This lodge was hands down my most enjoyable cabin/lodge rental experience. The house was very elegantly designed with every necessary accommodation for a fun get together with many friends or family. The host kept cooking supplies well stocked and the bathrooms and bedrooms kept all of the guests well rested and refreshed. We had a gorgeous waterfall view right in front of the patio/deck area that kept us constantly immersed in the beauty of the Ozarks. There is even a very fun mile long hiking loop that takes you to the base and top of this waterfall if you're looking for an adventure. 10/10 - I plan on staying again!

We were there to ride at Wilderness Rider Ranch. Weather was wonderful so we spent a lot of time sitting on porch listening to the waterfall.

Ozark luxury retreat

Clean, beautiful, comfortable, spacious, home away from home, huge, elegant deck sitting on the bluffs above picturesque ozark hardwoods. Easily accessible, thoughtful host, will definitely be back. Love it.

Incredible Lodge

This place was absolutely amazing and in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we wanted. The waterfall wasn’t running due to the lack of rain, but it was still a beautiful area. Not the best driveway for motorcycles, but we managed to make it up and down without incident. The air conditioner did have a little tough time cooling the place, but they had very unusually heat in the area and had cooled down through the night when temps were normal for the area. I would 100% stay here again! Tons of space and a great getaway from the world.

Beautiful Property

If you like the outdoors, the sound of rushing waterfalls, the singing of birds, eclectic charm and beautiful art pieces, you will want to choose Azaelea Falls. We stayed in the Lodge, and it was amazing. There would have been plenty of room for more guests - the Lodge is big and laid out well to accommodate more than the two of us. We drove into town a couple of times for lunch - great restaurant choices, and the food was great! There are steep and curvy roads but maneuverable. We got to see the elk - actually right up near the road. We would highly recommend this VRBO location. The host greeted us as we arrived by name and gave us a nice orientation to the area based on what our interests were. You can't go wrong with this one! Loved it and hope to be back sooner rather than later!

Secluded Comfort

Beautiful stone, wood and glass house overlooking a waterfall. Very comfortable and well appointed. The house blends into the landscape and surrounding nature. The owner was very kind and responsive. Hopefully we will make it back soon.

Hidden gem!

We were in for a quick night on our motorcycle trip. Stayed here because it was between Eureka Springs and Hot Springs. Got here later than we planned and after showing up after dark we soon realized it is a sketchy ride to the lodge on the motorcycles! We sent it anyway and she let us park our bikes at her office and we took the stairs down to the lodge. Beautiful place! This place doesn't show well in the pictures on VRBO but let me tell you this place is so awesome! The details of this place are amazing. Our one night there was not enough. We could have spent days there but we were in a hurry to get in and get out the next morning. It's even more sketchy on the gravel road going out and up the hills on a street bike. Well worth it though. The manager was super nice. Wish we weren't so rushed so I could have thanked her before we left out the next morning. We will be back for sure to stay more nights at the wonderful Azalea Falls lodge. I didn't get enough!! This is a true hidden gem of a place!

OUTSATNDING

EVEN THOUGH WE HAD TO CUT OUR STAY SHORT IT WAS WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED. VERY PEACEFUL, WE DONE EXACTLY WHAT WE WANTED WHICH WAS NOTHING. THE DECK WAS A GREAT PLACE TO HANG OUT AND GET SUN. THE JETTED TUB WAS A BONUS TREAT. THE ONLY THING THAT WE WILL HAVE TO REMEMBER IS TO BRING BUG SPRAY LOL. P.S. THE RACOONS LOVE THE TRASH SO KEEP IT INSIDE. THANKS AGAIN FOR EVERYTHING MARK BRIXEY

Exploring and relaxing

We stayed fir a second time at the azalea falls vrbo. They are wonderful hosts and there is plenty of hiking near by. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio listening to the waterfalls
