We grew up in Kingston so we are very familiar with old quaint homes. This was advertised as such and that is NOT what this was. It looked nothing like the pictures on the website. It was dirty. The windows are old and falling apart. The cushions on the furniture were so worn out we couldn’t sit on it. The closets were filthy. If I were there for a formal event I’d never hang clothes in them. Parking was a disaster. It’s down a very steep driveway and the parking area looked like a ghetto with old rusty tricycles , grills, and broken furniture. The doorknob on our entry door was literally dangling on a loose broken screw! We didn’t know who the owner was or if he was a property manager. He never spoke to us ( odd because the reviews said how welcoming this owner was) He certainly never checked to see how ouraccommodation's were. Our impression was that the Wiltwyk is not fit to be rented. It needs a lot of repair work and facility maintainence along with a crash course in customer service
. We DO NOT recommend this as a place to stay in Kingston. Don’t believe the website.
