This facility is showing wear and needs repairs desperately. Rusted shower drain, peeling wallpaper, stains on wall and carpeting in hallways, mold in shower, broken drywall. The DirectTV did not work so no cable. The clock was off an hour so missed breakfast. Extended checkout request was limited to only a half hour more than regular checkout time.

Never before has a hotel visit made me reconsider my life decisions and ponder if I was up to date of my vaccines, but this one did just that. To say this hotel was filthy would be an upgrade. Slime on the shower floor, an overwhelming smell of mold from the carpet and just the complete lack of housekeeping skills made this an absolute terrible trip. I would never recommend anyone stay at this location. And for the cost I really would’ve thought this was a top notch hotel. Guess I was wrong.

Upon arrival I entered the front entry to check in. The lady assisting me was beyond sweet and very helpful. She quickly checked me in and provided me with my needed keys and explained where my family and I would be staying. She stated I could enter the side door as this would be closer to my room, she also noticed I had two small children. Upon walking to the side door a group of men were outside with a BBQ pit on the floor of the parking lot and smoking MARIJUANA/WEED. This should have been my first major red flag. I opted to walk all the way around to avoid my kids being near that. Entering the room, I noticed that the door had a gap as if it was open. I entered the room and noticed the the carpet was sticky and dark in color. The odor of the room was of an old dingy hotel, not the clean fresh and comfortable smell of the typical LQ. The room was in desperate need repairs and attention. The entire night we had the hallway light in our room due to the gap in the door. Overall not a good stay!

RM 317 had a few issues mainly in the bathroom. 1. None of the outlets in the bathroom worked 2. The shower door did not want to close unless you lifted and pulled forcefully 3. Lime and calcium deposits in the shower. 4. The outlet to the coffee machine did not work But on the plus side the bed was super comfortable and the lady at the front desk when we checked out was extra friendly and helpful.

One TIME STAY ONLY-KEEP GOING.
Hotel needs much in repairs- but mostly a real deep cleaning. Bathroom floor had residual human waste (we cleaned it up)- rust on surfaces, shoddy - poor carpet and years dust and just a spot to sleep. Front Desk barely able to communicate with guests- Only bright spot was morning- day staff- (friendly and appeared interested in their doing a great job. Otherwise - a never repeat experience.

I opened the door to the room and was immediately hit with a strong mold smell. The bathroom had visible mold, looked decrepit, and the shower was really crusty. Was told by the front desk that the mold was "due to the rain and the atmosphere is out of their control" and that "all of the rooms were like that." I am duly aware they cannot control the weather but most buildings I have been in do not begin stinking of mold when it rains a bit.

Disgusting bathrooms
Rooms were musty and humid. Signs of mold and moisture in the walls of the staircases. First room we were checked into had a filthy bathroom that hadn’t been cleaned. After informing the front desk, we were moved to another room, with an even worse bathroom. Mold on the ceiling, caulking had mildew stains, rust stains from not being scrubbed for extended periods of time, hair in our shower from previous guests. Will never stay at this location again. Gone severely downhill since our last stay at this La Quinta.

Pro’s: The room was very spacious and comfortable. Con’s: The room was very musty smelling, we had to go and buy air freshener. We had to tighten the toilet seat because it was to loose We had to plug in the cable to be able to watch TV The shower was not very clean, the rubber strap on the shower door was loose , it wouldn’t close all the way while showering They need slip resistant pads or something on the shower floor, way to slippery Breakfast choice was a lot , but the food was barely warm

It was a quick and easy check in. Receptionist was super friendly and polite. The only thing is that we were given a room on the 1st floor, even though convenient, it was a bit noisy from other patrons walking by and slamming doors. But not enough to keep you from having a good night's sleep. I would definitely stay there again. The breakfast was plentiful and loved the Texas shaped waffles.

We always stay here when visiting family because they are pet friendly and always have clean comfortable rooms. Would recommend whether you have fur babies or not.

It is a fairly new property and nice however, in the bathroom they have mold around the tub. The breakfast is decent and the staff is polite. I would stay there again.
