ALOHA - Poipu Beach Vacation Condo

Aloha! This charming, cottage-style condo is located at the 35-acre Kiahuna Resort next to Poipu Beach, Kauai's beautiful South Shore. The Resort is beautifully landscaped with rolling lawns, Koi ponds, the famous Moir Gardens, and has its very own world class sandy beach. We are a short walk from the beach, Poipu Beach Athletic Club (access included) and Poipu Shopping Village for various activities and supplies.

Brand new 2 ton mini-split HVAC unit has been installed.
The space
Our 1-bedroom(king), 1-bathroom condo with a queen sofa bed is located on the first floor (no stairs) and has a private lanai surrounded by Kaua’i native tropical vegetation. Full kitchen and nearby outdoor BBQ are available for cooking meals. Not that you will spend much time inside watching TV but we have a brand new 65" 4k TV in the living room and another TV in the bedroom. Our condo has Spectrum Cable TV and High Speed Wifi. The bedroom features a king bed and 42" 4k TV. In the living room, the sofa has a pull-out bed to allow for accommodations of up to 4 people. In the closet we try to keep snorkel gear for adults and children, beach toys, beach mats, umbrellas for the beach and reusable shopping bags, however sometimes stuff goes broken or missing without our knowledge, please let us know if that is the case.

OUR CONDO’S LOCATION IN THE COMPLEX
Our condo is in Bldg. 40 on the first floor. Parking is FREE and is located next to building making it easy to bring in your luggage or groceries. It is considered a 'Garden View' unit, as it does not have a direct view of the ocean but is an enjoyable 4 - 5 minute walk through the historic Kiahuna to Poipu Beach.

KAIHUNA AMENITIES
You will be able to enjoy the beach side activity center where you can relax in lounge chairs. Against other owners advice, we have recently added a small combination washer/dryer in the unit. Access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club, which is included in your stay, is located directly across the street. It is usually open 7am-7pm and features a beautiful outdoor pool with water slide, a sand bottom shallow pool for children, hot tub, fitness equipment, 4 tennis courts, 2 half basketball courts, 3 pickle-ball courts, and shuffleboard. The Athletic Club’s Cabana Bar & Grill has their own daily Happy Hour from 4pm - 6pm.

As seasoned visitors of Kaua’i we not only offer you access to our condo but can provide many tips for how to best enjoy the island. We can share our experiences with local food, shopping, various tours and excursions available on the island. Travel tips at no extra cost!

FAQs - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

DOES IT HAVE A VIEW OF THE OCEAN?
No. It does have a wonderful private lanai and the beach is just a short 4 - 5 minute walk from the condo.

DOES THE CONDO HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?
Yes. The Kiahuna condos generally do not have air conditioning as the electrical grid in the buildings cannot support the power requirements for central AC. The weather generally does not require AC. However, we have recently added an AC to our unit for your comfort.

DOES THE CONDO INCLUDE USE OF A POOL & FITNESS CENTER?
Yes. All Kiahuna guests have free access to the Poipu Beach Athletic Club across the street. For access you will check in at Poipu Beach Athletic Club.

WHAT FLOOR IS THE CONDO ON?
Our condo is on the first floor of Bldg. 42. Just a few steps from where you will park which is convenient for bringing in luggage and groceries! NO STAIRS!!!

CAN YOU HEAR ROAD NOISE FROM THE CONDO?
About 40% of the buildings that house the condos are located toward the back of the grounds along Poipu Road, including ours. With the shutters open you can hear some road noise from the bedroom. If you're a very light sleeper you may want to consider a condo closer to the beach (message us and we can recommend a few), but they are typically priced quite a bit higher. We have found that closing windows or running a fan easily covers any road noise at night. It has very rarely been an issue for our guests.
