Nice unit

We had a great stay at this unit. We were unaware from the description that there is a road in front of the property between us and the ocean that is a popular gathering spot for people to park and watch sunsets. Not a big deal, however. The only other thing lacking were items like coffee filters, spices, aluminum foil etc. Again, not a big problem. Also, we were regularly washing forks and spoons, as there were very few of those. However, there were probably 20 carving knives. So, over equpped in some areas,but lacking in some of the basics. But overall, it was a very comfortable unit in a good location. And having the use of the PoiPu Athletic club was a real plus. I would stay there again.

Kapili is best location!

I have stayed at 4 different Kapili units over the years and this one doesn’t disappoint. The couch is a pull out however I requested a roll away so could put in 2nd bedroom which has plenty of space. Owner and management promptly replied to all communication. Kapili is my favorite location. Can walk to beach and shops. We saw whales off of our patio. We will be back next year!

Starting Line at the Drag Strip

For the most part it was wonderful, listening to and falling asleep to the sound of the oceans waves, sunset views each evening. However, almost nightly disturbances caused by inconsiderate car enthusiasts, revving their engines with loud exhaust systems, burning their tires while peeling out, and playing their stereos ridiculously loud while being parked on the street behind the condo. Also, carpet in the condo needs a good cleaning.

Easy access to beaches

Had a wonderful time at Suite Paradise. Our condo was on the edge of the property near the ocean. As a result it was a 2 minute walk to Brennecke Beach and to Poipu beach. Brennecke had great big waves and calm Poipu was moderate for snorkeling, but had lots of turtles come up to sleep each evening. It's not too far a drive to Waimea Canyon and we visited there as well to do a strenuous hike. Overall a great stay!

Perfect Vaca

The property is great. It has everything you need and is so close to access everything either by walking or a short drive. We loved having access to the Athletic club for the outdoor gym and the restaurant. We love to play pickleball and could play on the property or at the club. Everyone was responsive and we made great family memories. Wish we could have stayed longer or come back sooner.

Outdated

Very clean with great views of the ocean. The unit itself is outdated. The entertainment system’s, meaning the TV’s were so small for the size of the rooms & older models that they weren’t worth watching. Furnishings were older, carpeting was stained & filthy. Showers were small & cramped. No full length mirrors. Framed pictures on walls were faded & dated. I expected more for the cost, and the way it was represented online. The area is convenient to shopping & dinning, but can get noisy at sunset when the locals gather in the evenings with loud cars. We have stayed in other much nicer units in the same area before for less than the cost of this one.

We love Poipu Kapili

This is our second time at Poipu Kapili and we had a wonderful time. We were able to see the sunrise to our left in the morning and the sunset to the right in the evening. The condo complex is very quiet but well located between places you want to visit. Our new discovery this time was the awesome diving just offshore.
