Waterpipe debacle

Please is great. Love the view on the patio. BUT - water pipe broke, and we spent most of the night putting out pans to catch the water, towels, and had an alarm blaring. It took too many calls/emails/texts to get them to agree to an adjustment finally, but I had to negotiate pretty hard to get things reasonable. The price is a little high too.

Very nice condo with amazing view.

The property was beautiful, condo was very nice. It was stocked well with everything you could need, minus food. The bed is very comfortable. There is a large portable AC in the bedroom, however it does not work to cool the bedroom, much less the rest of the condo. Our main complaint would be the hot muggy feel in the condo. Even with sleeping the all sliders open all night. If you leave both screens open in the living room and bedroom, you can get a breeze through that makes it tolerable. Just be aware that the wind will keep blowing open the bedroom screen, so you have to wedge something to keep it closed. The fringe does not like to stay closed either. All in all a beautiful condo and a great place to stay, if it had real AC it would be a 5 star rating. all the way. Just FYI the maids come in, even when you tell them no service.

Poipu Paradise

We enjoyed the location and amenities of this beautifully appointed condo at Poipu Kapili Resort. The lanai provides great views of the ocean and lush garden pool area. We hope to be back soon.

Didn't want to leave

A beautifully decorated and very comfortable condo!

We have had the pleasure of staying in this condo for the last three years. Each year the length of stay was extended. It is a lovely home away from home and we plan to return. Kauai is an amazing place to visit!

Perfectly located, well maintained property with great amenities. Couldn't ask for more.

My wife and I visited for one week and hope to return. Not only was the property great, but we had everything we might need for off property excursions and beach trips, including a beach umbrella, beach chairs, a body board, flippers, and even two hydroflasks to keep water cool. All were provided for our use. It was a great trip and a phenomenal value.

Elegant and relaxing

What A Fabulous Oceanfront Space!

We loved our recent visit to Poilu Kapili #26. This condo was fantastic! Every little detail was thought of to make us feel perfectly at home during our stay. We truly couldn't believe that the views in real life could better than the ones captured in the photos but they were!! The sound of the crashing waves mixed with the birds and chickens (of course!) were a delight to wake up to each morning. As we were leaving my husband said that he can't wait to plan next years trip back to visit beautiful Kauai and this gorgeous condo again...I am holding him to it and can wait to begin planning our next trip!

Our favorite place on the Island

We've stayed at the Poipu Kapili in various different units over the years. The property is well situated near the beach and the grounds are immaculate. Pool is great and the barbecues on site are great for cooking. This unit was very nice and had all the amenities. It's the first time staying in a 2nd floor unit and it did feel much warmer than the ground floor units but the lanai has a better view of the ocean so its a trade off.

Beautiful Condo - Beautiful View

We loved our month in this beautiful and comfortable condo! It was the perfect place to relax, read and enjoy the view. The kitchen was well equipped. We ate most of our meals in, and cooking was easy. Everything needed was available. We had breakfast and lunch on the lanai, and then used the lovely dining room for our dinner. The large bedroom has plenty of storage, although with the washing machine and dryer there is no need to over pack. We really enjoyed the location of Poipu Kapili. We loved the walks to the boat harbor in one direction and to the Hyatt in the other, and the Wednesday afternoon farmers' market at the Kukui'ula shopping center kept us supplied with delicious fruits and vegetables. We are already discussing when we might return!

A Heavenly Piece of Paradise

We love this unit so much that this was our second time staying here. The view is the best and the unit could not be better equipped or more comfortable. Absolutely everything you need is provided. We cook and eat-in about half the time and it is perfect. We have recommended this condo to all our friends and many have enjoyed it as well. The entire resort is beautifully maintained and the pool is just the best. We love sitting on our deck and looking out over the ocean at sunrise, sunset, and all the times in between. You really don't want to miss this relaxing retreat.

What a wonderful place!

We were very much surprised about everything this condo has to offer. First of all, the ocean views are exceptional! The location is in walking distance to shops and restaurants. We watched beautiful sunsets from a large balcony with high chairs and a nice glass table. The place is beautiful furnished, has a washer and drier, and the kitchen has everything you might need and more, so that we decided to cook several times. The bedroom has a portable AC, but the nice island breeze at night kept us comfortable and cool. The pool and the grounds are also wonderful. All in all, we could have not made a better choice. We will be back!

Simply Lovely with direct ocean and pool view!

I viewed every condo available at this lovely community and determined that THIS one was the best, and I was right! It is spacious and homey. Right away you feel at home. The bedroom has portable AC which comes in handy on the hotter days, as it keeps it perfect. Both bedroom and living rooms have ceiling fans which provide a nice breeze to keep you cool. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked like a hotel, simply very well done. The front door has a combination lock so there is no chance of losing your key. The grounds are immaculate, and I mean perfect. They clean the pool every morning and check the grounds. If you are looking for a relaxing, comfortable, inviting and stunning setting for a holiday, look no further. This is it!

Beautiful condo in Paradise!!

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary so had high expectations on the experience we were wanting. When looking online, you hope that you have selected the best condo for your celebration. This condo was exactly as presented and exceeded our expectations. The view was amazing! The grounds are well manicured, the pool was wonderful, and the ocean was just a few steps from the complex where we enjoyed many gorgeous sunsets. The condo was beautifully decorated, and we loved all the art work and lovely touches that made it feel like home away from home. The furniture was very comfortable, and the family room had many built-ins with lots of great books. The dining room was lovely and the kitchen well stocked -we cooked several meals here, including fresh herbs from the gardens. The kitchen and pantry were stocked with everything you could ever need and more. The 2nd powder room had a large stacked washer and dryer with a drying rack. And the bedroom - just beautiful! The bed is very comfortable - pillows too! There is a large sliding glass door on both ends of the unit that allowed a wonderful island breeze to flow through the entire condo. We were always comfortable. In the evening, the bedroom closes off, and there is a/c for a very comfortable nights rest. Within minutes you could walk to the Sheraton beach or jump in the car, and Poipu Beach was minutes away. The condo had everything you need for a day at the beach including 2 nice chairs, 1 very nice umbrella, body boards, snorkel gear, water shoes, coolers, and towels. We’ve been to many of the islands, and this was our first trip to Kauai, and it has quickly become our favorite. We can’t wait to plan our next trip, and when we do, we will be coming back to unit 26. Mahalo

Great place to stay.

Great View, Had every thing you could need. Softest towels I have ever used. Easy access. Great location. Only surprise was no central air, but it had a bedroom air-conditioner & by opening both sliding doors at each end the breeze kept it comfortable. I would stay here again. Definitely Two Thumbs UP!!
