I gave the review an overall 1 star. We never got to stay at the place because when we landed we were told by Parrish Collections that there was a leak in the bathroom and that if we stayed there we would only have one bathroom and a plumber would be in our unit for an unknown amount of time. We have two teenagers and that would be difficult for us to share one restroom. The property management offer to refund our money so we could find a new place (however this was right before we were supposed to check in) or they would give us a different place. We felt like the only option was to take the other place and I had ask for a greater discount which they said they would consider. We had booked an ocean front view and instead they gave us a greenery view and only discounting us 30 a night. I was not wanting to sign the agreement since we had not agreed on the discount but was wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt because they were acting concerned and caring. All that to say they never planned on discounting us more. They said it was because they gave us a bigger place but that wasn’t what we had wanted, we were going for the oceanfront view. They kept giving me the run around and finally after we arrived back home they said they were not willing to give us a greater discount. This was our first time to the island and also celebrating our daughters 18th birthday. It was definitely not what we had planned and very sad that the way they handled the entire situation.

We had a lovely stay with only one hick up. We opened bedroom windows for a breeze and one wouldn't close. Mgmt was notified immediately. We were told the repair would involve a contractor and it would not be fixed during our stay. Overnight the window fell all the way out during a rain storm.

Thoroughly relaxing stay in Kauai

Unit and location met and exceeded our expectations. When looking for a place to stay, the view plus a king size bed were main criteria. The view from the lanai was perfect. Our mornings began with watching the horizon change at sunrise while we enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the lanai. We could see turtles in the ocean but suggest taking the short walk to the deck for the best view. We were caught by surprise when a red crested cardinal (thank you Goggle Pics) stopped by to finish eating my cereal right out of the bowl! Lots of birds are around so keep your screen closed. Nothing flew in but I can just imagine it happening. The lanai also offered a relaxing sunset view while enjoying an adult beverage. We also lazed in the lounge chairs by the pool during sunset. Suggesting stopping by Poipu Beach for another sunset opportunity. While there, we saw ~10 huge sea turtles sleeping on the beach, in a protected area. An activist said they often sleep up to 8 hrs in that spot. This beach also offers a protected area for calmer swimming yet another area which more waves for surfing. Shipwreck beach is also very pretty. We saw a wedding party having pictures taken. The unit had beach chairs, cooler and towels available. I did not use the kitchen beyond coffee, cereal and warming up leftovers. But, it appeared to be fully stocked, allowing you to cook full meals. Bed was very comfortable. The unit does not have A/C but we didn't notice to fans and breezes.

Great place

Everything was awesome. The only thing i would add would be letting us know whether or not you had beach chairs, umbrella or things if you didn’t have, we would have to buy. Awesome place, clean great view very comfortable and the TV was great as we watched the Dodgers beat the Padres :-).

Excellent Kauai Getaway

We had an excellent stay in Kauai at this property. Don't let no A/C scare you away. There are plenty of ceiling fans and tabletop fans and there is always a constant breeze. I am a very HOT person and found it very comfortable. We had a small issue with the magnets on the screen door and maintenance was there to fix it within 5 minutes... I couldn't believe it. I would stay at this property without hesitation. The only downside which is minor, is the driveway could be steep for someone with mobility issues. But they could easily be dropped off at the curb rather than in the parking lot.

Great condo, but no AC

This condo was in a great location with easy access to a walking trail and to Poipu beach. It is well appointed and has plenty of items you can use at the beach (coolers, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards). We had sugar ants in the kitchen that ruined our fruit and a box of cereal, but other than that, the kitchen is stocked with the basics to cook things. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms nice and clean. THERE IS NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THIS UNIT. Please be aware of this as the humidity can be stifling...especially if you are from a state that isn't that humid. I wish the description had said this so I could rent another. During the night, the fans are enough. But we tried to stay away during the day as it was obscenely hot in there.

Great stay, great location

This condo was perfect for our stay in Poipu. Comfortable beds, great view, and all within a quick 5min walk to the nearby beach and restaurants. The beach supplies such as chairs and bougie boards were also perfect for what we were doing. Definitely recommend.

The perfect location

Our plane landed 30 mins early. I texted the property manager and we were able to check in early. The place is gorgeous with incredible views. It was an easy walk to the beaches and an easy drive to anywhere we needed to go. The place was well stocked and really well organized. We will be back!

Superb in every way

Spacious, very well-equipped unit with stellar views from living room, dining room, and large lanai. (Don’t forget to bring binoculars for the whales and other wildlife.) Excellent location, particularly in winter, near good beaches,‘restaurants, and shopping. Nice common areas. Very friendly and responsive staff at property manager.

Perfect location!

We loved everything about our stay! The unit was very well stocked with just about everything we needed for preparing food, going to the beach etc. The unit was within walking distance from beaches, resorts, shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed watching the turtles off the deck down by the pool. We’d love to come back again!

Perfect Location!

We had the best stay!! The condo had everything you need and was so cozy. You also have the most incredible view of the ocean from the patio. We loved being able to cool off at the pool in the evenings and enjoying a drink down on the terrace. This unit was so close to shops, restaurants and is walking distance to the Beach where there is great snorkeling. We can’t wait to return!
