The service was extraordinary as owner Jaswant went out of his way to ensure we were well looked after. Further, the camp was as not overrun by westerners as most tourists were Indian. We enjoyed the camel ride and dune sunset, as well as the evening food and entertainment. This was a highlight of our trip. ”

“L'hotel è carino, le stanze sono pulite e la location non è male anche se non è dentro al forte; per arrivare su al forte c'è un pò da camminare, circa 15 minuti, ma è carino perchè si passa tra haveli e negozietti molto bellini. La vista dalla terrazza è spettacolare, veramente un incanto, credo una delle migliori della città. “The Marina Mahal is a great value option close to the centre of Jaisalmer. Akbar and Marina are a delightful Indian/New Zealand couple who are extremely hospitable and who do everything to make your stay memorable. They can arrange a brilliant trip into the desert. The vegetarian food in the rooftop restaurant is excellent and the views are stunning. Rooms are comfortable with AC, reliable hot water and free WiFi and the whole place exudes local atmosphere. Highly recommended!”

“Ottima esperienza. Camera grande è molto confortevole. Pulizie due volte al giorno, acqua, bibite , frutta e snack gratuiti (noi viaggiamo molto e soggiorniamo in ottimi hotel ma una cosa del genere, in questa misura, non ci era mai capitata). La proprietaria italiana controlla il personale e questo migliora il confort per gli ospiti. Infine il ristorante sul terrazzo offre anche dei buoni piatti italiani. Non credo si possa chiedere di più ad un hotel con sede in una cittadina indiana.”

“Hotel posizionato fuori dalle mura antiche, ristorante discreto e very cheap e servizio breakfast nella terrazza da cui si gode la superba vista della città fortificata nella locale pietra arenaria gialla. Camera piccola con rifiniture di personalità e pulita, impianto aria condizionata moderno. Consigliato!”
