“My first non-smoking room smelled very strongly of smoke. (Why do people smoke in non-smoking rooms??) The woman at the front desk was so kind and helpful throughout my stay and moved me to a different room. Second room was okay, a little run down but it was clean enough and the AC worked. “The Roosevelt is an old school, family owned motel. We were checked in by the owner and she was very helpful about the local area. The rooms were clean and the parking was easy and convenient. There is nothing fancy here- but if all you need is a clean place to sleep- this is your spot.”
